I've seen where the guy was born in British Columbia, so even if it's true, it's not a border crossing issue. Canadians can enter the United States at ports of entry, as long as it's only for a visit. I think the time limit is 6 months.

I would think a lot of rich people have private security. The Pelosis are worth 114 million. They certainly didnt save that on Nancy's paycheck.

I doubt they just have ADT on speed dial while Nancy goes to the liquor store in Taiwan.

Why isn't it a border crossing issue. He crossed the border, but didn't go back. That makes him an illegal alien, the same as those crossing the southern border are.

According to verified twitter users that I’ve never heard of: they were there when the Pelosis weren’t home. According to Politico: they go with the speaker.

Would make sense to me if some of her security remains at the house when she is in town but not at the residence, but then something less when she is elsewhere.

I am not a fan of Canadians. I think that rule would be better for our Hispanic neighbors.

I'm not for wasteful spending, but I do think that the family of the 3rd in line should be protected.

FYP. Paul has done quite well since ole Nance became the speaker of the house again. But, any money he has made was just because he is a genius stock picker, it had nothing to do with his "wife" being the speaker of the house.

When Republicans discuss Democrats "not wanting secure borders," they are talking about illegal entry. As long as this guy entered the United States from Canada at a port of entry and presented himself to the proper authorities for inspection ... then it wasn't an illegal crossing. He just overstayed his visit. There is no difference between the two parties when it comes to this policy involving Canadians.
