Paul Pelosi attacked in home invasion

My gym had two of the TVs on Fox News and CNN. Both were stating that this was politically motivated with absolutely no proof. Just saying it as if it were an absolute truth just like they did with every Covid lie.

So based on the current information I’m gonna guess the Democrat outrage and fury against Trumpers over this heinous attack will vanish like a fart on the wind?

You guys have just become detached from reality. It's incredible the nonsense you'll spew just to avoid facing facts.

Maybe it was to a degree. But I think calling it a politically motivated attack is lazy and gives the assailant way too much credit. The guy that shot Steve Scalice, the guy that assaulted Paul Pelosi, the guy that beat up Rand Paul, the guy that shot Gabby Giffords - they were all just nutcases who clearly had lost touch with reality. Calling it a political attack feels like it elevates them to a status and a level of thought that they just don't deserve. They may have had political thoughts, but mainly they were just some combination of dumb, crazy and disturbed.

And what exactly are the 'facts'?

They are well reported by the police and responsible news outlets. Not my fault you are so obsessed with it being other than what it appears to be that you've gont numbskulls just with ridiculous conspiracy nonsense posting on Twitter which gets reported here and the usual mouthbreathers in the forum lock onto it.

Assassination attempt on a Justice because democracy worked is political. Leaking Supreme Court rulings to incite violence is political.

The police gave no details and wouldn’t take questions. My hunch is it’s a cover up that Paul likes peckers and got into a lovers quarrel in which he got his ass beat and the Dims are in denial and the fixers can’t fix it. If it quacks like a duck, it’s a ***** duck, not a platypus.

Edit: on reading other accounts it’s more likely there was one hammer they were fighting over.

Like the facts that PP originally said he didn’t know the Assailant but turns out he did? Or the fact that they both apparently were wielding hammers? Or the fact that at least one of them was in his underwear? Or the police statement that they were called in on a welfare check not a disturbance and once they arrived the assailant became belligerent?

No doubt PP was injured and that’s wrong and hopefully he recovers fully. But this whole situation has some Ed Buck level crazy air to it.

Of course all of those people are wackos and do not represent the vast majority of people aligned with them politically.

But you have to admit that when the GOP dumbs down, dismisses as minor, and otherwise excuses a mob of people breaking into the US Capitol and briefly occupying it, that tends to tell the nutcases that such is acceptable as political discourse.

We are not talking about your Jan 6 fixation here. We are talking about PP apparently getting his freak on and Democrats stupidly blaming Trump. Again. Like always.
