The Georgia vs Oklahoma game from 2017 is the only good semifinal game that I can think of.

I agree, I don’t see nothing wrong with it. It would make the top 25 more interesting as well. You’ll be paying attention to 16 to 20 then.Even 20 to 25 might be interesting to pay attention to.

I don't believe there is such a thing as "running up the score".

However, if there were, that label should be reserved for when a team goes out and puts a whoopin on West Montana Tech.

I have no sympathy for Oklahoma or any other big time school, particularly one ranked #4.

Does it matter? Did you watch them play Florida this year? Gators hung around for a bit and LSU went up a TD got it back and went for the throat. I like the aggressive approach over running out the clock like we tried to do vs BYU.
