Dude! Lighten the **** up!
To even mention Pearl and Calimari in the same breath is beyond the pale. Calimari is a con artist who stretches, pulls and bends every rule in the book. Two, count 'em, TWO universities with sanctions so bad they had to forfeit Final Fours. He's deep in the sheets with the scummiest bball pimps ("Phone call for World Wide Wes!"). He's so oily when planting $$$ in the eyes of these kids he makes the BP board of directors looks like Mormons. And, if you honestly believe he was an innocent bystander/victim when Derek "Pay no attention to that blond hair" Rose "took" his SAT, then, baby, do I have a land deal for you!!

Oh course, the icing on the Calimari cake is when he pulls a George Costanza and knocks women, children, etc. out of the way as he bolts out the door just before the NCAA delivers its special FTD bouquet.
Meanwhile ... Bruce and company -->> QUICK! Hide the children! -->> Made too many phone calls to some home run recruits he was trying to land.
Oh, the shame! The humiliation! How will we ever show our faces in public again?!!
Was he wrong? Yes. Was he unethical in lying about the phone calls to the NCAA? Of course. Punishment is certainly warranted.
BUT ... To equate PHONE CALLS with the sleazy crap Calimari pulls on a daily basis is ludicrous!
So ... To all the Bruce-haters, KY (jelly) fans, gloom 'n doomers, and everyone else who is screaming for Hamilton to line the doorway into Bruce's office with banana peels, I have a request so simple even you will understand it:
SHUT UP!
Do all of us a favor, draw the curtains in your glass houses, replace your heads in your :shaking2: where they typically reside, and log onto Ebay in the hope of buying yourself a life.
Bruce may have screwed the pooch on this one, but he admitted it publicly, and he's staying to accept his punishment like a man. He didn't jump ship, and in a relatively short time, he managed to tranfuse his blood for a grade that has a distinctly citrus hue.
And, when the alligator shoe drops at Rupp? (And, it will. It's just a matter of time.) Do yourself a favor and make sure you aren't standing anywhere near an exit door, 'cause the Calimari express will be a comin' through!
