every coach and university either are lying or have lied.plus others like uk,flordia,bama,unc,duke,usc,oklahoma, nebraska,miami,fsu, notre dame, michigan,indiana, auburn,lsu,pittsburg,villanova,uconn,syracuse,ucla,texas,ohio state,and others all are lying about extra phonecalls or extre benefits,put them all on lie detectors.ut is by far the cleanest of all programs above ky tried to buy ncaa tital last year and failed so there trying again this year.but even with 4 top 20 and vargas they dont have a returning 20points 9rebs expeirence player

People like you make me sick. I care a hell of a lot about Tennessee and take a lot of pride in our reputation as an Athletic Department. Pearl simply confirmed what many of us have thought for a while, he's a hypocrite. I support the school and the players over the coach. The coach now has disgraced the school. To act like that's "not being a fan" just shows how stupid posters like you really are.

The investigation isn't just beginning. It has already been made public that it began over a year ago and will wrap up by December.

Last time I checked, Fulmer brought a National Title to Knoxpatch and Pat Summit has 7. Both have more class in their little fingers than Bruce has in his entire sweaty body.

You are absolutely correct. If this was any other coach in the SEC, these same posters would be calling for their head. Indicating that lying to the NCAA is not a good thing and is inexcusable makes every one "holier than thou"---ridiculous. The old every one does it is getting so old. Even if that is true, not every one lies about it when questioned. The lying is the major issue.

Firing Pearl would make a strong statement that the University will not unethical behavior in athletics or academics. How can the university, in good faith, discipline students for unethical behavior, but indicate it is not a problem in athletics if you win enough games?
