Ron Mercer is a TN native and he chose UK over UT. When he turned his ankle at TB, the crowd roared and started cheering while he was laying on the ground. I've never seen that before, and I havent seen that anywhere since.

Typical razzing is fine. What the guy behind the bench did by addressing a single player as he did was classless and was handled as it should have been. No room for that behavior in any arena.

But, as I said before, it's the UK fanbase. They are recognized as the most loyal and trashiest from coast to coast.

I don't remember that happening. He was loudly booed every time he touched the ball.

UK fans chanting Cheater last night was a bit ironic, eh?

Pearl is a big boy. He can handle anything a toothless inbred Kensucky fan can yell. Don't be so stupid to think a Kensucky fan got under his skin and he called the cops.

The problem with the hicks behind the bench was their abuse of the players. There is no room for that. Period.

I dont like someone being over the edge at a game either. If the TWO were over the edge, I'd be the first to admit it. But they werent, Pearl should have been concentrating on the game instead of talking back to them in the first place.

Every game Pearl now attends he will hear "Pearls a cheater". And when I say every game, I mean EVERY game.

I thought it was pretty nice on Cal's behalf to make the chants stop after the 3rd one.

Agreed. If Coach K, Bob Knight or Cal got security for every fan yelling at them, they wouldnt have anyone left in the stands. Let alone know whats going on in the game.

I think it's all true. Bruce was obviously very distracted; as evinced by the fact that he kept sending Steven and McBee into the game.

If you want to make up stuff, fire away. It was two UK fans and one was a kid....I'm sure the players felt real threatened.

As for your attacks on KY, let me be the first to tell you...UT isnt an Ivy league school either. You're an hour and a half away.
