I dont understand this...UT fans getting mad at TWO fans at Rupp. What do you think is going to happen when he goes to Gainesville? That place is vicious and in your face. Security would laugh at Pearl if he asked them to remove someone. I hope you guys mute your TV when watching that game...Rupp will be a night and the theater compared to the hell he'll go through.

You know what was said? Is this Pearl himself, or a player?

Your first claims of how it was a group of people and that they were cursing is enough reason to know your story is completely fabricated.

It was an adult and a kid, about 2 rows up and they werent cursing. Hence the reason they didnt leave.

I'm not willing to go through news articles to find it, but it was a pretty big deal in the late 90's. I dont care if you dont believe it. You'll run across a link or video one day and maybe you'll remember it. Mercer was boo'd pretty bad all game. He should have been, he was voted 2 straight years as TN's Mr Basketball...then went to UK. But cheering an injury is a different animal. It happened, if you dont believe it...so be it.

2 fans, one being a kid, get into a back and forth argument with Pearl the day after a cheating suspension is lifted and you want to believe the worst case scenario. Pearl has only scratched the surface on what he'll hear from now until the season ends. Sorry fellas, it only gets worse.

Bottom line----Pearl needs to pay attention to the game, grow some nads and deal with it.
