Pearl to Iowa??

You know the rule as well as the rest of us, if you agree with hat you are defending or following him. However, if you agree with IA Vol you are simply a reasoned individual.

Exactly.

He just can't bring himself to see that my post had nothing to do with his argument with Hat.

Right. Never mind the fact that Ferentz will have his team ranked in the top 10 at the beginning of this year and Mr. 10th choice Dooley will be patrolling the sidelines for UT. Good luck with that.

The revenue Ferentz brings to Iowa far outweighs his salary, which doesn't rank as highly as it once did.

Really? Talking crap on a Tennessee board when you are a fan of a crap program in a crap conference with an overpaid coach with a sub 60 winning percentage in his career in said crap conference?

Face it dude, Ferentz is nothing but Phillip Fulmer in a lame ass state.

Never mind that Tressel will win his 6th Big 10 title in a row while making less than Ferentz.

No sir. I have a number of friends who are Iowa fans and, truthfully, they are too arrogant for their own good.

I am, however, a fan of rational thought. Just trying to spread some of that to Vol nation.

Oh, I stand corrected.

My comments on Ferentz and Iowa in general stand.

Ferentz is the perfect man for the Iowa job and I hope he coaches there the next 20 years.
So does Ohio State and everyone else who actually cares about competing for Big 10 titles regularly.

Turned down a couple of NFL offers. And kept them from falling too far behind Ohio State and Michigan.

Yes, I'm sure Jim Tressel was so scared of Ferentz as he was winning the Big Ten for the fifth year in a row

And turning down NFL offers doesn't make you an awesome coach.

You know how you can tell an argument that involves hat is over?

The Pearlifiles start calling other posters "hat defenders", and "hat followers".

Please. Ohio State is Ohio State and Iowa is Iowa. Iowa might pull out a few Big Ten titles occasionally, but they'll never overtake OSU as the dominant program. Pay Ferentz to stay there and he'll do as good as any coach could at Iowa.

Kind of like Tennessee's relationship to Florida or Alabama.

Sewanee High.... YOU HAVEN'T TOLD THAT JOKE BEFORE MAN

:eek:lol:
When it's no longer applicable, this lame ass response will matter. Until then, we'll assume that their reading comp lessons match the quality of the sports programs.

Comparing Iowa's history in athletics to Tennessee's is absurd on so many levels.

OK GUYS, IM GOING TO WATCH THE GAME

Hat have fun "hanging at the garden" :eek:lol:

The rest of you have fun crying on a message board about Bruces salary

:eek:lol:

You would think that someone who professes to have any kind of sports knowledge would realize that Florida was crap before about 1990

You're correct. Iowa football has completely left Tennessee football in its rearview mirror and I don't see that gap closing anytime soon.

Please never compare Tennessee to Iowa in football again.
