This is a little odd. Not sure it means anything but it is strange to see him go.

I worked with him at UT and it would surprise me if this was by choice.

You really think Hart would fire a guy over a few message board posts?

I still think we need an explanation as to why we lost Pendergrass. I was always under the impression that he was good at his job.

Gmafb...no one owes us anything.

UT Football is big business and if a change is made then there is a reason for it. BP has had other good jobs and will no doubt find another one...best of luck to him.

I bet it has to do with the stock market crashing today...Extra! Extra! Whale II costs UT athletics $1 billion in faulty trade swaps.

Strongly doubt this is ole' Skeet. But, in the interest of knowledge, Pendergrass was personally rehired to the UTAD by Hitman Dave Hart in 2010. I don't know when he started posting, but it would have been about that time if he was indeed Skeeter. Also consider that we have more than one AD insider here. I think it's even less likely that Pendergrass was DP12 (he's not in AD administration, IMO), but you never know.

That being said, I get the feeling Jones wouldn't be all hot to trot about firing a two-time Tennessee alum who's spent most of his career with the school for a few lousy message board posts when Hubbs has most of the same exact info a day or two later.

I also agree with this, if there was a leak in CBJ office he is sure to remove it. Loose lips sink ships and CBJ has meetings to keep information in house, if it gets out then you have to find the hole and plug it. This makes since, you don't see recruits or players twitting our secrets.

ESPN is coming to our house, if there was any info that was leaking out prior to them arriving and printed this could be a cause and effect. Just curious if the staff has a Confidentiality agreement most company does in todays world, break it and you are subject to being let go.

Hey Coach Jones...I'll happily send over my resume. No need to interview anyone else. I got this.

Where do you think Hubbs got most of his info?

It's clear a true explanation SHOULD be given by the AD. Alas.... Our AD is horrid.

Why do you think the AD owes you an explanation for every internal personnel move made? What if Pendergrass would prefer they not put the explanation out there?
