i'm still confused... he put 39 on the nation's best D, beat up notre dame, beat up wisconsin, has only 7 ints, a 144.5 qb rating.... again, when did he look bad?

Dude have you seen the Big ten this year, I wouldnt argue this if they had iowa, PSU, MSU(which usually doesnt finish bad), the big ten was horrible this year. So out of conf. OSU played texas, and michigan played ND. Other then that they played a very weak schedule besides playing each other. I have no doubt in my mind that OSU is the best team in the country, im not convinced on michigan. Now do you think that these teams(MAYBE OSU) would go undefeated in a conf like the SEC had this year, or hell even the pac-10. My whole arguement about this is basically I will be very upset to see michigan/osu rematch in NT game. In my mind their are 3 teams that have played a better quality schedule, that deserve it. Im not saying michigan doesnt deserve a BCS bowl bid or they are the worst team ever. But if you actually watched their games(which i had too,im right in the heart of big ten country) then you would see what i seen, they played NOBODY. Henne put up 39, i believe it was HART who kept them in that game, if not for his rushing i dont think they wouldve even put up 28 it wouldve been more like 21. Everytime OSU put pressure on henne the ball landed on the ground. Now lets say Michigan plays FL,heres what will happen(at least what i think) FL offense is not that bad, at times it looks it but at times it looks great, They will put up numbers when needed Like they have done all year. Michigans offense has yet to play a defense WITH SPEED, hart wont be able to break off them 20 yard runs up the middle with a team that has speed, they put pressure on henne, which if you ACTUALLY watch michigan football you know taht he CHOKES under pressure, he is bound to throw 2 INT against a very fast and good defensive backfield like FL. I think it would be a good game but i think the SPEED would overwhelm Michigan and BIG TEN football and score would be 28-14 gators. But then again i could just be stupid:crazy:

you could just be... michigan would beat florida. hart would have a field day. i get to see all the michigan games too. they are very talented. I don't think florida or arkansas are as good as michigan. USC may have a case, but no one else. Florida struggled against all these so-so SEC teams. don't over exaggerate florida... remember, THEY HAVE CHRIS LEAK... and there is no debate. henne > leak

UF would not have a problem hanging with or beating Michigan.

Oh, I thought it was a Leak problem a moment ago. Running in circles now.

i'm not running in circles... you asked me about defense. i stated that i take michigan's offensive weapons over florida's D. and I take michigan's D over a mistake prone, stupid play Leak. what more do you want?

Catch your breath, I can see panting in your sentences.

Akin to the beating Curt Warner, Shane Conlan, and Ed Dechellis must have felt this year.
No, much worse. UM has respect for Penn State. I'm sure they share the rest of the country's disdain for the Gators and would gladly take it out on them in front of a national audience.

I dunno about that... even without Thomas, Florida's D is still pretty stout. Throw him in there and I'm not sure anyone has a field day running the ball against Florida. I just don't think Florida could score enough to beat Michigan.

Evidently, Ball State rates with Penn State on the respect scale.

Yeah, I think it would have to be a game in the 20's for UF to win.

and if Mich can put 39 on OSU's D, they'll have 30 by halftime on florida

That line of thinking is really useless, it does not work that way. How many did they have on Vanderbilt at halftime?

In fact, how many teams did UM have 30 on at halftime this whole season?

Sounds about right, don't see why it would not be a competitive game.
For a simple reason. Michigan is really, really good. Florida isn't. The Gators haven't beaten a single sound football team. Their most impressive victory is over the most self destructive team in the country. Nothing on the UF resume indicates to me they can play with the Wolverines.
