I;m not the one who thinks Joe Paterno or any other octogenarian resident of state college isnt aware what child rape is, or is a fan and student of the subject of pedophilia. Pretty ridiculous actually.

You can't even put the connection of pedophilia and child rape together. That is just sad.

Also, you don't have to be a fan of it to know what it is.

Instead of talking about things you have no clue about, why don't you stick to watching and laughing at your talking bass on the wall all night for your entertainment.

At this point, if anybody has the nerve to brag about Joepa's legacy or how he won the 1974 Sugar Bowl and think he didn't know what was going on then you're quite ridiculous. He understood and covered it up to keep the pure as snow image up. I still have in my mind that he liked what was going on because how could anybody go for this behavior? I am waiting to see what else comes out of this.

Without the details of exactly what Paterno knew and when he knew it, I do not see grounds to crucify him. I hope there is a civil case against Paterno so that these questions will have answers.

I'd just like to point out that you are offering up, as a legitmate reason for why Paterno didn't follow up on a second accusation of pedophila in by one of his coaches, that he might not have been "curious" about it.

This isn't Philosophy 202. This is a child being raped in the ass. If you don't think that Paterno had any moral duty in that situation, then you're halfway to being a monster yourself.

Exactly. It's not like child ass raping is on the same level as staring at the window and asking yourself if those trees are real or if you're in some sort of parallel universe. It's real ****ing life with real people that are being victimized beyond belief.

No, I get the connection, one is an element of the other. I just looked it up and its exactly what I expected. Pedophilia is pretty far reaching. I never made any other point except for I believe this was not a topic Paterno had any familiarity with. YOu're the one that doesnt get it.

Could be, I just think he probably did everything he could do to distance himself from this whole thing. I also dont believe Joe has the mental capacity to fully process all this. Not saying thats can be used as a defense, just a casual observation.
