I posted this article in the thread earlier today, but have a look at this article from April. So seven months ago.

If this was in the frigging newspaper, a lot of people at PSU had their heads stuck completely in the sand about this.

I doubt she just said, "oh well, this guy raped my kid, but he's a defensive coordinator, so screw it." If she did that, she's worthless. I mean, it's possible, but I doubt it.

If it was my kid, the son of a ***** would have been dead as soon as I heard it. I know in my heart that it isn't right to say that, but I just don't think I would trust the legal system to really serve justice. How many of you dads feel this way?

I am not in her shoes, I can't answer for any of them. But I highly doubt they were just like, 'well, nothing is gonna happen, oh well'. My guess is maybe she was paid off or threatened.

This has got to be the worst piece of journalism I have ever seen. What knowledge do you have of this? I am unsubscribing from this newspaper solely because of this rag of an article.

My sentiments exactly.

Any mother would keep pushing, pushing, pushing. Like, what was her reaction when he got the Emeritus position and was still on campus? Cause she clearly knew.

Just doesn't add up. **** I dunno.

I think there's reason to believe it's something other than her just saying, "ahh shucks, this isn't worth pursuing."

I mean, it could be a lot of things. That's why an effective prosecution of this case is so essential. If the prosecutor really goes after all these people, they'll be tripping over themselves to spill the beans on exactly what went down in order to try to escape jail time.
