Penn State scandal (merged)

Jokepa did not call the cops. I don't see how that is not a crime in itself. How can you know of such a major crime, allow it to continue and not be liable legally and criminally?
Next time I have knowledge of a crime, I will tell my boss and I am OK?

Did you eat paint chips as a child?

Yes, he's laughing at the ignorance of the board yet he can't describe what the ignorance is. He claims people are jumping to conclusions but when pointed to direct evidence to the contrary, he just pretends nothing was said and he knows more than anyone because his "wife deals with victims." In other words, he's worthless.

It saddens me that we have a riot that has broken out over a coach being fired and we are talking about child molestation. I'm so bothered by this I can't sleep right now and I'm just so unbelievably troubled. I can't imagine what any of the victims families are feeling if they are watching these idiots defend a coach that could have stopped what was taking place.

One of the very few times that we agree completely, alaskavol. Despite our vehement disagreements on UT Athletics, I'm with you 100% on this. :hi:

No, I'm just laughing at the ignorance of a lot of people on this board. But its not funny, its just sad.

Right. Everyone who is criticizing Joe Pa is ignorant. I'm sure you think that you're "open minded" just because you are going against the majority. The only other people I've seen that agree with you are flipping over vans, throwing rocks at individuals, and tearing down light poles. Congratulations.

So the GA was in the wrong for going to his superior only and not the police, but Paterno isn't...? Nice consistency :hi:
Nope, it's been stated by myself and others that everybody that had knowledge of the atrocities that occurred and didn't go to law enforcement agencies should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Morality bs is ridiculous.

All are in the wrong accept the assistant principal at Victim 1's high school. He was the only one who went to the authorities.

Not the school president. The school vice-president. The university counsel. The athletic director. The graduate assistant. The graduate assistant's father. The janitor. The janitor's supervisor. The wrestling coach. The executive director of a charitable foundation.
