Per Cowherd via Vince Doria, a Top Ten football

Colin is clueless but going by his 'hint" about "making TCU happy" then you could towards NikeU for a few reasons......recruiting in TX and missing the NC game bc of the Ducks.

Flenory said the payment to him was for a recruiting service that his company set up for Oregon. The package included names, birthdates and other info on potential recruits. Flenory said the package to Oregon was the only one ever sold by his company because “we stopped doing it because the NCAA said recruiting services could no longer do camps on college campuses. Because we were running camps, we decided that was a better business for us than to sell the recruiting packages.”

There still needs to be proof that these men steered recruits to Oregon. This guy (Flenory) said his company was only paid about 3k for information on recruits, so that seems logical. The other guy was paid 25k. I'm curious to hear the reasoning behind that.

According to Cowherd Tennessee is not a top 12 program, but would be in 15 minutes if UT hired the right coach.

Who's he got in mind? Good coaches are a dime-a-dozen, great coaches...............not so much.

When kiff was here he said ut would be title contenders in a couple years. That is a good coach in his opinion.

Unfortunately for you, it does not matter that he thinks the payments were within the rules, it only matters if the NCAA thinks so.

Yep. You're right. Fortunately, we aren't hiding anything, and it seems within the rules.

Let me rephrase that, then.

We aren't hiding the fact that we paid these guys, or the amounts paid.

That's one thing that stuck out to me. These were public records. If it was anything remotely shady, would they have been stupid enough to put in on their list of expenses?
