Per ESPN Auburn Has Hired Freeze

May 2022 Auburn: We'll leak rumors of alleged infidelities about our actual coach so we can run him out of town.

November 2022 Auburn: We'll hire a man who cheated at football and cheated on his wife so we can be winners.

Were the escorts for him or his players?

Auburn didn’t make the decision to hire freeze. That lone booster cowboy made that call. Freeze answers to him only outside the public eye.

I don't see why everyone thinks is a great hire. He was cheating his ass off at Ole Miss. Had to vacate those wins. NIL will prevent him from even having an upper hand there. He is a good play caller. He's Kiffen with more baggage. I would have been much more impressed if they hired many others

Freeze was hired becuase he’s turned around every college program he worked for in terms on on field results. Lambuth, Arky State, Ole Miss and Liberty. All were shite before he arrived and all won with him. Even if you discount what he did at Ole Miss due to the violations, he’s still 3-0 on rebuilds.

I think that's definitely true. His big advantage was paying players, now gone. He probably is good enough as a coach, though. He's done okay at Liberty. So I guess he gets 3 years at Auburn or finds a way to send an escort to yellow hoss, in which case he gets 10.

I think he's a good enough offensive mind to overcome the competition at Liberty and Arky State. He wouldn't have been cheating his ass off if he didn't need to. Like Kiffin when he was at FAU

I’m sure he’s not on a long leash. Be interesting to see what Auburn plans to do to make this work. I fully expect them to come for Garner very soon.

So, what does paying a coach from Liberty with a checkered past $6.5M/year do to other SEC coaches' salaries?
Some here will insist that Freeze deserves more money than Heupel because he is a "blue chip" SEC coach and because he beat Saban twice almost a decade ago. Nevermind that Heupel beat Bama this year, Freeze is "scary" for Saban.

The only salaries that concern me are the Vols. We should make sure Heupel, Garner, Golesh, and whomever Heupel feels are critical to the program are appreciated. Freeze will come after Garner and any number of programs might target Golesh.

Don't go Jimbo crazy but make Heupel secure and make Golesh and Garner tougher targets. I'd also include Elarbee, but I'm probably a little biased and believe winning the trenches is winning games.

If you can win at Liberty, you can win Anywhere!

Kiffin might be “kicking” himself for Not taking that job…..

It ain’t gonna get any easier in the SEC!

Jimbo might have things going in a couple of years…..

Kelly - not sure, yet….

Saban ain’t retiring.

Kirby Smart - still enjoying his “recruiting” prowess….

Pittman: Over-rated…..

Drinkwitz: “Please”….

Beamer: Not sure, yet.

Mark Stoops: Missed the boat.

Mike Leach: Flip a Coin….

Billy Napier: “Who Cares????”

— Same record as Clark Lea at Vanderbilt this year. - Barely made a bowl game….

Heupel: So far has proven to be a WINNER!

WHAT A DAMN CONFERENCE!!!!
