He beat Saban back to back years with lesser talent even if he paid for that lesser talent…. Ole Miss in both upsets never had better talent than Alabama even with the paid players.

Now that players can be paid and Auburn has funded one of the biggest NIL collectives in the country, he will finally be able to show if he’s legit or not.

You can say he cheated and be right. But the product of his cheating never gave him any advantage, coaching or talent, over Alabama. And he still beat them. That is what Auburn sees

Some here will insist that Freeze deserves more money than Heupel because he is a "blue chip" SEC coach and because he beat Saban twice almost a decade ago. Nevermind that Heupel beat Bama this year, Freeze is "scary" for Saban.

The only salaries that concern me are the Vols. We should make sure Heupel, Garner, Golesh, and whomever Heupel feels are critical to the program are appreciated. Freeze will come after Garner and any number of programs might target Golesh.

Don't go Jimbo crazy but make Heupel secure and make Golesh and Garner tougher targets. I'd also include Elarbee, but I'm probably a little biased and believe winning the trenches is winning games.

What does it matter. White and Hype have been together for 4-5 years now. There is zero reason to worry or panic over this. Heupel will very much so let his buddy and boss know what he wants pay wise and White will also let his buddy know when he’s getting a raise and extension. This is first time in long time we’ve had an AD/Coach combo that have been in lockstep with each other.

I can’t think of a better fit. Auburn bought a NC in the Cam Newton bidding wars. With Pearl and Freeze on campus, wives and wallets are always in danger. Auburn will go to any lengths to cheat and cover for a coach. Freeze can now defer to a 3rd party NIL group to pay for his Hookers.

Despite this year, Jimbo is very good. Kiffy is ok, the Pirate is kewl, Kelly wins everywhere, saban may still be around, Freeze is good.

Really, Sam Pittman is the only lightweight and he still wins a few.

The east has Kirby, Hype, and five duds. Good for us! We just have to win one big game next fall.
