He is an east coast guy that has had jobs out west...just like many other Americans as well as myself have had. He even took a huge job recently with an east coast professional football team called the Philadelphia Eagles located in the state of Pennsylvania in the city of Philadelphia. He also coached in the city of New York, NY at Columbia University...Johns Hopkins University in the city of Baltimore, Md......and in the city of Durham, New Hampshire at the University of New Hampshire. All located in the eastern side of the United States of America.

I really enjoy when people use intelligence on volnation. It's a rare commodity.

They will hire someone, we WISHED we could get. And they will dominate us for another 20 years

Are they selling tickets in Knoxville to the John Currie Walk of Shame event yet?
I hear Cersei Lannister herself will be the color commentator.

If we drag heels and these Florida rumors turn out to be true then it will be apparent no one with any power cares about UT football, and therefore I wont either.

We better not be dragging our feet and land a home run hire. Gonna be a several SEC coaching positions open and if we don’t play our cards right we are gonna be at the vandy level for a long time
We are dragging! But, we are dragging!🍿🤔

They’re about to part ways with a guy that’s won the last 2 SECe division titles because they don’t think he’s the right guy, in year 3, primarily because his offense is boring.

Meanwhile in Knoxville, we’re trying to decide if a guy who has never won anything here in 5 years, who’s presiding over a program implosion that has us at the bottom of the SEC is gonna get a 6th season.

Shows who gives an ish about their football program....it ain’t Tennessee. And guess who will make the better head coach hire?

Likely a false rumor as things never happen this fast at elite football programs, but nevertheless, very concerning that we might have to compete with both Florida and Texas A&M when finding a new coach.

Have a feeling sumlin will have solid end of year and stay at least one more

Rumor is Mac is fired. University position is they could do it for cause over the false death threat thing, but are working on an agreed lower buy out. Mullen will be the new HC.

Meh.

I’ve heard the same.

The death threat issue became an issue because UAA was completely caught off guard in the press conference. Mac never mentioned anything about the players, himself or his family receiving death threats.

Regardless of how credible a threat appears not to be, you have to inform the the university, if for no other reason from the liability exposure.

Meh.

Is Mullen doing good enough this year to do that? I guess a win today over tamu to go with the beat down of lsu would be pretty solid but ya I wouldn't be crazy about it either

He would bring the offense back to respectability imo and at a place like UF it would be easier to hire a good defensive coordinator which he's done a few times at miss st now in manny diaz geoff collins and todd grantham

To be honest, Mullen scares me the most at Florida. Tebow and a bunch of Meyer Era players are likely to get way more involved and recruiting will only get better. Not a sexy pick but everyone knows his system doesn’t lack player development.

Chip Kelly is a west coast guy. I’m not really impressed with him myself. Jmo!!

Yeah I'd really hate winning 84% of our games, beating our rivals unmercifully annually, and being a threat to make the playoffs every year.
