Per Galilee- Nichols...

His heart is not at duke my friend.

If anything, and I stress IF, it would be the other way around. His head is at Duke, and his heart is at Tennessee. The smart play for his future, both on and off the court seems to point to Duke, but there are numerous family/friend connections tugging at his heart strings to attend Tennessee.

Does anyone else think it's a bit of a coincidence that the rumors come out about UT...he's quick to hush them, and now announces a visit to midnight madness with the tigers.

He is wanting to announce on ESPNU, they aren't going to carry it, or there will be no drama AT ALL, if he didn't do anything. I think he's trying to create a little drama, play to all the fans(he's retweeting Auburn fans today) and create some form of anticipation for his announcement.

Midnight madness is a cool scene, at any school. The kid grew up in Memphis and has been to these before...as a basketball fan why wouldn't you wanna go? If someone asked invited me to go to Kentuckys I would, doesn't have to mean anything except that I enjoy basketball.

JMO

I've been to Big Blue Madness in Lexington. It's impressive, and that was pre-Cal. I'd say he has juiced it up a little more. Patrick Patterson attended the same one as I did as a recruit and received the royal treatment.

Yea that's what I was saying.

Exactly.

As just a basketball fan it's an awesome scene, and I don't blame Nichols for wanting to go...it's his hometown, it's right down the road.

Like Sparty said, I think he's just enjoying the whole process, trying to make everyone feel like they're still in it...and will committ to UT shortly after his October 20th visit!

If I'm 17 and people are chanting my name, I'm going to every place I can go.
the same people and even own fans will be cussing me soon, so I'm going to enjoy the ride.

Which is exactly what he meant by saying he wants to hear the reaction one more time...because after his committment it's gonna sound a lot different the reaction hell get.

Martini drinker!!!

"From what I heard no need to worry. Iverson was the 4 man CJP wanted.*UM has one of the best MM (midnight madness) around. Can't fault a kid for taking it in before a free OV. I would do the same."

Excuse my post if this has already been asked and answered. Please note that I am not trying to troll or discredit OP or anyone else, just curious.

Who is Galilee and what makes his info credible?

Poster on TOS, he is in the know in Memphis and is unbiased.

I forget to make the endzone to other forums transition all the time. I come across as a troll or a d!ck. Lulz

or a troll dick?

If you ever look at my posts, only 2.347 % have anything serious and only half (generous estimate) of those are correct.

Troll dicks are the worst trolls possible. IMO

Yeah I talk outta the side of my head 85% of the time. The ff is my favorite place to say half serious stuff, they are so sensitive there. I try to be serious here. The bball forum is generally rational, aside from the occasional little brother complex. I kid bball forum, not really lulz

For the record, Galilee, while usually solid, has been wrong before. He thought Leron Black was a Kentucky lock. Things are looking good, but it's not over til it's over.

And Kentucky never offered black... Hard to committ somewhere that hasn't offered, and if you think Blacks recruitment is over...it's not even close. Let's see what happens when/if Cal offers, what black does then.

I know this off subject but will Coach Martin have a open practice or scrimmage the day of the Bama football game?..Thanks

I've been committed to UT for almost a decade now. They have yet to accept my commitment.

His exact quote was something along the lines of "nobody but Kentucky has a chance."

Being that he is committed to Baylor, I'd say they have a chance.

It's not Galilee's fault. Kids change their mind every day. Accurate info one day is useless the next with them.

And I'm guessing that's assuming if/when Kentucky offered...if Kentucky never offered obviously someone else would have a chance. However, if Kentucky does end up offering it'll be interesting...I get your point though.
