If youre a braves fan would you not attend Yankees red sox for free?

It's being a fan of the game...I HATE the red sox...but I went to a game at Fenway simply because I'm a baseball fan and it was an awesome experience.

You could hate duke, but would you turn durn duke/unc tix at Cameron indoors? I sure woukdnt.

Pretty much this. I live in Kentucky and my wife's family lives in Lexington. I love basketball in general, specifically UT basketball (grew up in Knoxville and lived there 30 years). My brother-in-law had tix and invited me. It was a Friday night and I had nothing to do otherwise. Cool experience honestly. Got to see how big-time programs dress-up the event unlike anything UT has ever seen.

And that TN was in the lead for JW3. However, I think that he's right about Nichols. Nichols may not have alerted the UT staff yet, but I think his mind is made up.

After i hit the link and went and checked out what the memphis site had to say about Nichols and UT i feel alot better about some Volnation posters than i did before.Some people get a little crazy especially on the football forum.But all those memphis fans on their site are totally ignorant.they are some on Volnation that will say we didn,t want him or he isn,t that good anyways if a recruit goes elswhere,but in over five years i have yet to see the level of crazy posters on Volnation that i saw in five minuets on the tiger site.And the ones who didn,t post that they didn,t want austin posted that he was going to Duke or Vandy and calling UT dirty and saying we are in obscurity and that the only reason our games were on tv was because of being in the SEC.I have gotten upset with fans of opposing teams posting crap on this site and told them to go away but on that memphis site they would run a UT fan through with a blade if possible and everyone of them would not want you posting anything there positive towards UT.And they all think that Memphis will rise up to be even more of a dominate team in the big east and that UT will continue to be mediocre and go to the nit and that getting Stokes and Hubbs and Nichols is a passing thing and that after they join big east for good that all the top Memphis kids will go to memphis unless memphis recruits players from all over the country.I think the memphis team will continue to be good but it will not look that way because playing the cuse and uconn,louisville and others will be alot tougher than playing in conference usa.there will be no more undefeated conferene records for them and they should get used to 6 to 10 losses a year.while the VOLS on the other hand win plenty of games this year and have a great year next season and recruiting should continue to be great landing top 100 talent across the board and some top 20 talent in and hopefully outsideof the state of Tennessee,.Go VOLS

Fwiw I've heard from people involved with the program that Tennessee could've had J3...unfortunately they'd likely have had to part with hubbs, and definitely Nichols. You obviously see the route they chose.

What was telling was JW3 and Hubbs interaction during their visit. No one even saw them conversing much and seemed distant during the practice and shoot around. Guys that don't have good chemistry off the court tend to not have good chemistry on it. Only the great ones typically push through.

Solid post, Smyrna. As much as I respect Galilee, you are right in that no one really knows the minds of 16, 17, and 18 year olds...sometimes they don't either.
