Agree with this. If we loose the next two (I know once again how dare ye have hope we win the next two) then Vanderbilt sets up to be Dooley's "potential" waterloo. Otherwise as Darth Vaul says a homerun hire is all that will replace him at 7-5.

Agree mjw2e with most of what you said concerning the game except this comment

"Expect Bama to play 2 safeties and dare them to run on them. UT must prove they can."

Saban is pretty stubborn about leaving his corners on an island in cover 1 and committing what is necessary to stop the run. If you are right we must have success running on their front seven and if he does play a lot of cover 1 then Bray and our receivers must win those matchups one on one. These are two musts that we have to do consistently to be successful on offense.

Do any of you give Dooley credit for one of the BEST OFFENSES in the SEC? And next year they will likely be better because of better RUNNING!!!

Do any of you give Dooley credit for the class players that are now on this team. They talk about TEAM not me, they don't get into trouble (other than Kiffin's criminal DRogers).

Think about it. Tennessee hasn't lost a game because they can't score points. You could make an argument that 1-3 plays in each of their losses cost them victory.

You negavols come across as hoping Tennessee loses so you can have your Gruden(I still don't see where you think he is such a great college coach) or Petterson, or Briles (please he lost 70-63). These spread offenses don't work in the SEC. The exceptions are with elite QB's like Cam and Tebow. How often can you find a QB like those two. It's rare.

I'm pulling hard for Dooley to make you negavols "eat your words"!!! How many of you will have the guts to admit you were wrong if he does make it?

I don't think you can count his salvage job of Kiffie's recruiting class when he got here as one of his classes. If you really think that, you might need talk to a neurologist pretty quickly.

I know, I just haven't heard anything that makes me certain they are willing to pay it now either. Maybe you know something I don't. If they do I'm cool with it as long its a big time hire. If its another up and comer type Id rather stick with Dooley.

This has to be one of the stupidest things I have read. So in order to keep his job he must beat teams that no one thinks they have a snowballs chance in hell of beating. That makes a ton of sense. Why is steady improvement not enough? Last year the vols could not stay in game for more than 2 quarters, this year they are competing to the bitter end against top ranked teams. You have to give the guy a full recruiting class to if he is worthy or not. You can't let him recruit HIS players then bounce him after there 2nd year. That irrisponsible on the ADs part and could really set the program back.

I think alot of it is that people let they're expectations get too high pre season and after the NC State game. Now that those expectations arent being met they are freaking out.

Ill also say that there are people on this board with better connections than Hyams, TIFWIW.

Nope I would rather he beat both of them times a 100. What I was saying I hope he is fired if he doesn't beat either one of them not that I hope he loses. I am pretty sure Dooley is not the answer at head coach, but would I mind being wrong? I wished I was.

So it logically follows that if Dooley does beat one of those 2 teams his job is safe. Sounds good to me but I somehow don't believe that would shut negavols up.

CP in open space is one thing, CP in a smaller space inhabited by our OL and Bamas DL at the same time is something different....

Buy any chance did you catch how much concession sales were down last year? Think it was 8.3 million!! Last year sales!! Would Buy a lot of coaches if need be! Think hart has said money is no problem! If a team is making progress and fighting for there coach is one thing but if they give up its another. Season is not over so we shall see!! Last year team quit before the season was over!!!! Time will tell if Dooley will be coach!!

There coached by Saban, so they will be good in every phase, but im intrested to see, if we punch them in the mouth a bit, score some TD's, (only given up 45 pts this year) , i wonder how they will respond.

Truely havent been tested, not saying we go out score 50 points and win, just saying, I want to test that defense a little bit and not crown them as world beaters because of what previous teams have done there

I think I heard that one before the UGA and MS St games too. You guys need to stop talking yourselves into the possibility of winning here. We're going to lose the next two games and if you have any sense, you shouldn't be too upset about it.

A sane post in a sea of insanity? Dangerously close to being banned IMO.

If they try to run CP inside, it will only happen once. He will refuse after that, if he is able to get up.
