Perry at the top of GOP polls. Why?

Bear with me here...

...this is hilarious.

UNDER SCRUTINY – PERRY CHANGES TUNE ON HPV VACCINE: The Texas Tribune is up with a story this morning that suggests Perry will begin to distance himself from controversial parts of his record as governor that he has until now embraced in Texas. “For years, Gov. Rick Perry has taken flak for his 2007 attempt to require girls to be vaccinated against HPV, the most commonly sexually transmitted disease and the principal cause of cervical cancer. At the risk of angering fellow conservatives, Perry has always insisted he did the right thing. That unapologetic approach changed this weekend. A few hours after unveiling his campaign for president, Perry began walking back from one of the most controversial decisions of his more-than-10-year reign as Texas governor.” Jay Root’s story: Under Scrutiny, Perry Walks Back HPV Decision — Rick Perry | The Texas Tribune.

We will start to learn more and more about these guys over the months to come.

Can't he just do what Obama does and blame all the problems on Bush?

It's the pundits that are blaming Bush, not Obama.

I blame the de-regulation of investment banks, Alan Greenspan, Larry Summers, collaterlized debt obligations and derivatives.

There you go. Thing is, The guy has blood on his hands from this. Now he is distancing himself from it?
How many young girls in Texas did this jackass kill from his decision to make the shots mandatory?

Now hook him up to the Trans Texas corridor and the guy is unelectable. (with an awake population)

Sad thing is, he will kiss a few babies and invoke God on a few occasions and win the nomination. That is just how dumbed down our population truly is.
Of course, this does not even get into why he was at Bilderberg in 2007 either.

ALMOST TREASONOUS?! – PERRY SAYS BERNANKE WOULD GET TREATED “PRETTY UGLY” IN TEXAS: The Texas governor told a crowd in Cedar Rapids last night that that the Federal Reserve better not “print more money” before the next election. A Think Progress tracker caught Perry on film at the last event of a long day saying it would be “almost treasonous” to dilute the value of the currency: “If this guy prints more money between now and the election, I don’t know what y’all would do to him in Iowa but we would treat him pretty ugly down in Texas.” The hard line sounded like a play for populist supporters of Paul, who has made ending the Fed a central part of his political agenda. But it will surely alienate many of the establishment GOP types that Perry needs to raise hard money from if he wants to compete with Romney. For example, former deputy White House press secretary to George W. Bush, Tony Fratto, quickly tweeted: “Gov. Perry's comments about Chmn. Bernanke are inappropriate and unpresidential.” Here’s the video: Perry on Bernanke: ‘I dunno what y’all would do to him in Iowa but we would treat him pretty ugly down in Texas’ | ThinkProgress.

Taking it to Bernanke a little it seems..
