It's not accepting defeat if you own it and make it a statement. I suggest a mohawk. Even as it recedes it announces your power and individuality.

Added bonus: You could do a time lapse video of the mohawk with daily photos taken in the same position and make a really interesting effect, like an eroding jetty or maybe a giant caterpillar crawling over your head. Très cool.
