Ummm, Moses is the #1 OL in this class. I don't see why it would affect his decision. And we've already told White he is gonna play tackle, though he will learn all positions. I see White as a RT and Moses as a LT.

What a pair of tackles we would have. Just think about this...

RT White
RG Richards
C McNeil
LG McClendon
LT Moses

I know this most likely will never happen because they would have to start their freshman year, but that would definitely be one of the strongest lines in the country.

St. John's second-team All-Met lineman Pete White has narrowed his college choices to Maryland, Tennessee, Florida, Miami and, interestingly, Oregon.

How did the Ducks get in the mix?

"I really like their offensive line coach," White said between practices one day last week. "I like their offense."

Oregon offensive line coach Steve Greatwood has some familiarity with the Washington area; he spent the 1997 as an assistant at Maryland.

White said he plans to take some official visits during the season but hopes to reach a decision before the end of the season.

He goes to St. Johns where Rico went... Its a catholic/military school in the WCAC conference in Wash DC... That basketball recruit Josh Shelby goes to Dematha which is in the same conference as St. Johns... These schools have good talent and we need to be in the mix.

We have to be in the lead for both Morgan Moses and Peter White. White only has one scheduled official visit......Nov 29th to see Tn take on KY.....Looks good on the OL front.

White has narrowed his list down to Florida, Maryland, Miami, Oregon and Tennessee, and on Sunday he announced that he has set up his first official visit.

"I've actually set up my official visit to Tennessee," White explained. "I'm going to be going down there for their game against Kentucky.

"I really don't know when I'm going to be taking the others but those five are the ones I'm looking at. I know the Tennessee visit will be during the season so I can watch them play, but I don't know if the others will be during or after the season."

G PETER WHITE (6-5/340), Washington (D.C.) St. John's College High
CONSIDERING: Maryland, Tennessee, Miami, Florida and Oregon.
PERFORMANCE: White played tackle and guard on offense and defensive end in a 42-3 loss to Olney (Md.) Good Counsel.
STRENGTHS: There have been questions about White's physical conditioning, but he looked like he was in good shape and he didn't wear down. He's so massive he's just hard to get around and he has good feet for a big man. He's a good run blocker and has a good punch in pass protection.
WEAKNESSES: White struggles at the second level and projects as a guard at the next level based on his mauler mentality and advanced run-blocking ability. He misses moving targets in space at times. - M.F

"Of course you want someone there that you already know a little bit, but I don't know how things will work out," White said. "I like coach Adkins a lot. Like I said though, I'm just interested in learning more about the new staff and taking my time."

"I'm still looking to visit Tennessee, but I haven't talked to anyone to set it up yet," White said of his plans. "I will probably try to get down there in January depending on how things go."

Think we'll have a good chance once he meets with Kiffin and makes it to campus. We're definitely still in it.

Found this on another site dated 11/30 from Rivals.
"Missed his trip to Tennessee over the weekend. Visiting Maryland in two weeks, and then plans to visit Miami and Oregon. Has a top four and has eliminated Florida.

A this from the guy from scout that keeps up with White.

"I like Maryland's chances here. Tennessee could be a player with Rico McCoy, a former St. John's player giving the Vol's a shot."
