I haven't seen enough of Peterman to know if he can ever succeed or not. He has been thrown to the lions twice. If he could play 2 or 3 entire games against weaker opponents, and get acclimated to the speed of an actual game, and not practice, I could give an opinion.
It is like taking a guy off the Web.com tour, who has played one round on the big tour, and sticking him in the final pairing at The Masters. After he has been there a few times, it gets easier.
No need for analogies. You either take advantage of opportunities or you don't. Gamers step up when given the chance. Practice players fold. I mean damn he just looks totally lost & costs s every play. Every play is almost 6 the other way or a turnover.
