Peterman Starting QB discussion

Peterman will probably never play as a Vol again.
Worley is not the future.

Do we really run Ferg out there with no practice?

Hope we have a qb coming in

We would be ahead in this game if Worley were playing. Jones made a mistake playing Peterman--and is has compounded the mistake by continuing to play him. When a guy is responsible for four turnovers in less than a half, it's safe to say your QB decision isn't working out.

No sense in seeing Peterman ever take the field as a Vol again after that last embarrassing INT. Ride the pine seek a scholly elsewhere next year, we just cant use somebody like that.

This would be the expected result for any freshman QB in the Swamp. I hate it for Peterman. The OL is giving another sub par performance.

Jones should have taken Peterman out after the second series! What in the he$$ is he thinking? What is he watching?

He's been making wrong guarantees for awhile. Worley and Maggit situation are his latest errors. The point is, if you don't know, don't guarantee anything.

DP said Worley looked better in practice this week. After this first half, he might have a better eye for qb talent than Butch. :)

I feel bad for Peterman because he is gonna catch hell but he does not belong in the SEC.

This is why I did not understand the cries for Butch to pull Worley. Yeah, he's not great but damn, he did win the starting position so that should have told everyone something... and today was obvious.

well i've kept quite during this whole lancing of Worley...i had mad respect for him when he took over while Bray was healing his bottle throwing hand.....but i didn't really know alot about Peterman so I figured you guys knew what was up.....but is the debate even open for discussion anymore.....holy cow!!! i'm drinking my own vomit because it's better than this game

The guy grew up around Jacksonville. He lived in Gater Country. He started working harder to become the starter to sabotage this game. Pass just "slips" out of his hand.

Okay. I don't believe this is true. At all. But it is a case that can be made by conspiracy theorists.

When the opposing team knows you can't pass the ball, you can't run the ball. If we can't be successful running the ball, this will be a very long season. Keep trying different options Butch, I don't fault you for trying Peterman. It didn't work, so go to the next option.

He left him in way too long imo.

Not a mistake, Peterman had the better practice week. Gave him a shot, didn't work out. The thing is, we are still in the game

Told you all that Peterman was not the answer. Hate to say it, but Jones caved to pressure. Disappointed in him.

To be fair, if Josh Smith had caught those two balls we might be leading this game.
