The other thought is if he plays well you can feel like we may be ok for the SEC schedule. As there is no environment tougher than Ben Hill Griffin Stadium for opposition.

I think we need to give him a shot with the first team and see if he can make the reads. We've been calling for no more Worley and we got it. Now it's time to see what happens. I do think the AP game made his reads look bad because the back ups on the line were collapsing bad.

if you were florida....... would you have prepared your team more on the conservative guess of worley? and would time be split with all the backups including the freshman?

I'd imagine their main game plan for the defense was surrounding worley despite all the rumors.

Link? I probably missed them. DP has good info. Whether or not he bats 100%, the info I've seen from him is solid.

That's interesting. So I make a statement eluding to the fact that maybe none of the QB's on this roster are all that great and that I trust what the coaches see in practices, and now I'm a Worley supporter or his brother? I really do love this place. :thumbsup:

Just hope this isn't throwing the sheep to the wolfs. This is a bad game for a first time starter. I expect we will run the ball a lot at first until Peterman settles. But if Butch thinks he is the best man gor the job, I will support it.

I say we line up in a bunch of run heavy offenses, but throw it deep to catch UF sneaking up. What do we have to lose? (besides the game)

I have no reason to believe the outcome will be any different but this move has suddenly reenergized me for the game today.

Right here, VG, and I'm really happy for him and his family! Hope this is just the start of his College career and he gets the QB job permanently so maybe I can see him at Neyland some day.

His Mom contacted me earlier this week and offered me a seat with them at the game. I was honored they asked but my mother-in-law is in the hospital and I don't want to leave the area due to her condition.

Sure hope Vol Nation gives Nathan a chance, no matter what the outcome today.
