Peterman will Start...

Nobody has even seen Peterman play a single down. Hard to make an assessment when there's nothing to go by.

Peterman is a very mature young man. That will be refreshing.....Tyler has a lot of growing up to do over the next few years.

Agree but we're going by the praise all the coaches were giving him last season. Saying they can't believe how far along he is, has a high football IQ and a cannon for an arm. And all that was said about an EE true freshman. If he truly is a dual threat and he's in a system that plays that kinda offense then we should have high hopes on him.

They said the same about Worley. Worley is just as fast based on numbers & played on a more similar offense in high school.

Difference imo is Peterman is more mobile and Worley is a little statuesque like Bray. I like both and am happy to have this kinda QB problem vs the ones we were having 2008-2010! As long as the better guy starts, I'm happy with either one.

Would be amazig if you stepped out in the nearest busiest intersection

He has tried already

He was struck by another gator fan driving a VW bug. It was horrible. If not for the quick actions of the driver, 99gator might have been lost. He suffered a large laceration to his left leg that was bleeding badly. The driver, acting quickly, cut the legs off his blue jeans to create a tourniquet to stop
the bleeding. After a few minutes, other Florida fans arrived and helped with the situation. While there, the fans noticed the cut off blue jeans on the driver.
Jorts were born.

Just curious what you base it on. Worley is just as mobile (exact 40 times) & ran a true no huddle spread in high school.

Spring ball will be interesting....I think they both bring the right qualities that CBJ wants. Mobililty is a plus and that was lacking last year.

I'm not going by clock times I'm going by what I saw. Petermans videos showed me he can run with the ball when he needs to and watching Worley the past couple years, he just didn't seem very mobile. I don't know what kinda offense Worley ran in HS but there's different kinds of "spread" offenses. I'm not saying Worley is a bad QB just don't see much mobility.

What I have heard is that the team doesn't respect Worley.
That doesn't portend either the needed teamwork that has
not exactly been a hallmark of the Vols these past few
years nor leadership.

Funny all the reports i've read says he's a team leader even when he's not on the field. From what i've read it will be a competition for the spot just as it should be.

Have your daddy (if you know him) explain the concept of
team sports.

You write of civil discourse and then start the equivilent of calling names. i suggest you consider taking a deep breath and stepping away from the key board before you embarrass yourself further.

May not mean much but one thing I'll give Worley, he had a solid offer list from top D1 schools while Petermans were from lower tier schools. Although Peterman was recruited by Butch so that could be a huge plus for Nate.

If UT is going for a QB that can run the football;they better have two QB's ready. QB's that run get injured more often than pocket passers in the SEC! It might be good insurance to have three QB's ready!!!

i hope peterman does start because lets be honest with worley or him either way the new guy will have some growing pains in their first year as a starter in the sec so i would rather the freshman go ahead and take his lumps and give us 4 years of continuity on offense, plus it seems hes a good kid with a lot of ability and seems to best fit the offense that butch likes to run. thats not saying that worley isnt good or wouldnt produce cause i think he would do fine as well, im just ready for a diverse qb with the legs to make things happen when plays break down.

That is all....thanks for coming out guys. Butch is high on this guy and thought he was UC bound. I am excited about this guy.

Jones will give the QB's an equal shot at the job. Anyone who thinks they know who will win it right now is an idiot. Even the players and coaches do not know.

I am excited about both of those guys. It would be VERY foolish to count Worley out. He does NOT have bad mobility. He has a very good arm, intelligence, and game savvy.

I will not be surprised if Peterman starts.... but you can't make that conclusion right now.
