WTF?

PM is a disgrace to the University. I'd say he is OBLIGATED to hire this guy as his personal assistant.

How dare he tip so generously, knowing that the restaurant has this policy in place, and that the urge would be too strong for the waiter to brag about all the hookers and blow he was going to score with PM's money? How DARE HE!

Now we are getting to the bottom of this.

Sure bro. I've trolled many threads in my day - and that wasn't a troll job, it was a failjob.

Hey, when someone believes that post was a legit post....now that's a fail. Come on-Peyton plus 74 people at a $9.99 all-you-can-eat with drink and soft serve wedding party buffet. That's funny no matter who you are. I'm laughing again.:eek:lol:

I'm sure by its name, this is a pretty fancy steak house but $739? I hope there were about 20 people with him. I was at the Hard Rock in Chicago about 15 years ago with 10 other people and not only did we eat well, we drank A LOT of alcohol and our bill was no where near $739. BTW hire that kid back!

He was with a big party and he picked up the check. The angus barn is a buffet style resturant that goes for $9.99 including drink and free soft serve ice cream for dessert. So if my math is correct his party consisted of about 74 people. That pretty much takes up the whole place. It must have been a wedding party or something. It is all you can eat though.
The Angus Barn is a steakhouse, similar to Raleigh, as Regas was to Knoxville in price, quality, and atmsopehere.

He tacked on the gratuity to Peyton's bill?

Whatta dick.

no.

Most places will automatically add a tip to large parties. When the check was presented it was stamped that a 18% gratuity was already included. PM added the extra $200. He actually didnt have to give anything more but chose to.

Nothing dick-ish about it.

I guess things have changed since I waited tables because I always had the option of tacking on gratuity.

This is such a stupid post. The waiter got himself fired by posting private info about a customer on the internet.

Peyton had nothing to do with this fool losing his job.

The Angus Barn Menu - Raleigh, NC 27617 - (919) 781-2444

Actually, a decent meal at a bona fide "steak house" usually runs around $100 a piece, even more if you include a decent bottle of wine. You could certainly hit the $700 mark with 2-3 couples.

Hard Rock Cafe isn't quite in the league of this type of restaurant. USDA Prime beef and well-appointed service are costly.

Peyton shouldn't be throwing money around now that he is out of work... no telling how much longer he can live on 684 billion dollars
