Peyton Manning is #2 on NFL Network's Top 100 Players List

Rodgers is 6th? Who made this list? I'm a Packers fan, but still, I think that's too low. Aaron Rodgers is crazy good. Dare I say...and I know this will ruffle some feathers, currently better than Peyton.

Get the pitchforks, y'all.

What people seem to forget about manning, that they wont let go of with petterson, is that the guy Sat an entire year out and had 4 neck surgeries, that a lot of people believed could be career ending, and he came out just as good as always. With Peyton I think people are so used to seeing him put up those numbers that they think he should be lower on the list. I think the top two were exactly who they should have been.

If I'm thinking correctly, this would be a list of top 100 from last season. They do one every year. Eric Berry made the list his rookie year.

I came to the UT football forum to read something about UT football, and first thread I see is about players who are not playing for UT.

Last time I checked, those players played football at Tennessee. Just checked again, there isn't a whole lot of other Tennessee football going on right now.

Read the title of the thread, genius. It got sidetracked as happens to most threads.

It doesn't matter on a college football board. A college football board's forum on college football is about, you know, college football.

So I'm to understand that on gatorsrus or whatever that there is never a mention of a former gator who is currently in the NFL? Right!

It will be VERY interesting to see what kind of numbers Peyton posts now that he also has Wes Welker at his disposal.

The same numbers, i dont care who you throw in there, peyton spreads the ball around it doesnt matter if you are all pro or a janitor at the school house if you are open he will hit you, best regular season QB in the history of the sport.

In a sense, they are "ranking 2012." Unless voting was conducted differently than it was for last season's top 100, players vote at the end of the current season for next year's top 100.

I don't see why you're complaining, Aaron Hernandez is right there at 77. Thought he converted to receiver though, maybe they're ranking 2012.

So not only are you living in the past and depending on current accomplishments of former UT players to beat your chest about UT football, when called out on how silly it is, your butthurt reply is to criticize a rival for what a former player of theirs has done?

80's Hot Tub Time Machine called. It wants its plot back.

Well since you're on a Tennessee message board, if you don't like what things are discussed in a particular forum, why don't you just GTFO.

Accomplishments of former players sells the program.
