Peyton Manning is done in Indy

Peyton is officially on the waiver wire. Denver is interested and is going to reach out to Peyton according to Adam Schefter

This team has too many needs it has to spend money on this offseason...they dont need to spend it on a 3rd quarterback (no pass rush; just let finnegan walk...actually defensive issues all over plus oline stuff)

Manning one a super bowl without an oline or a defense, and less talent at the skill positions while in Indy. I'll take our chances with him.

Not really sure if it's true or not but someone is saying Peyton is in Miami right now.

Apparently he is living there this off season. That being said I don't see him going to Miami or New York. He'd have to play Brady twice a year and in a tough division.

I also don't see him going to Washington, crappy team. He'd be a perfect fit in San Fran; great defense, running game, easy division, and weather. They have a good receiving target at TE and can sign or draft a receiver. I'd also see Arizona a good place too.

I heard he is in Miami. Know they are interested. I'm 3 hours away. If he lands there, I'd sure pick a couple of games to go see him play.

The Dolphins have absolutely no upside. You got South Beach and great weather. It's a great place to live in if you got money, but no way he QBs that team unless he's just looking to cash in.

im just gonna say this after watchin his emotional press conference... no matter how good luck turns out to be i really hope that colts fans dont forget where he brought them from and as for lawgator we love and support our team as well as respect former players that gave their all for us we in return give our support to them. i became a vol fan when i was very young and manning was qb. i use to throw the ball in my back yard as if i was him so yes its a tradition and rich history we have to follow our former players. go back where u belong and mind ur own

Peyton in Miami.

With the Heat and the Phins, it'd just be a matter of time before all the hardware sinks the state.

Best chances of him winning another ring.
1. San Fran- best defense, Crabtree, V.Davis, F.Gore
2. Arizona- Very good defense, L.Fitzgerald , weak division
3. Miami- again, top 10 defense, B.Marshall, and probably R.Wayne
4. Washington- I believe they even have a better defense than he's ever played with. Owner willing to spend $ to get better. And Leonard Hankerson- 6'3-WR-Burner/ rookie last yr out of the U. / Santana Moss isn't bad
5. IMO no other teams give him a chance to get a ring. Really just the first three do I think give him a legit chance. Like KC, but don't think he can get one there.

You forgot Houston

Going to be the team that can afford to sign him with the current salary cap. Not going to be easy for a lot of teams.

I believe they have a lot of cap space, so I am guessing they would go get Wayne also. Brandon Marshall while he is a punk is very talented, and Reggie Bush fits in perfectly with what Peyton likes to do.

I doubt Peyton will ever be forgot in Indy. Colts fans will be talking about him for generations to come.

Who is Schaub and what has he ever done?

Top 10 in passer rating the last 4 years. Houston was the number 1 scoring offense last year before he went down to an injury. Led the league in passing in 2009 and was selected to a Pro Bowl.

Not saying he's Peyton Manning, but he's only started for 5 years, is younger, and is on a team that's on the rise. Dude's definitely not a scrub.

Not real excited about saying this being a Raiders fan and all, but the Chiefs make the most sense.

No he didn't; that defense was better than the what fielded last year, especially as it started getting towards the end of the season.

The titans were last in QB pressure (i.e. DEs not doing their work, the team had the second least sacks last season...not to mention in the bottom 8 in interceptions), pass and run defenses were terrible/ middle of the line at best (we were the second worst team against the run; and the poor defense absolutely showed when the titans played good teams - see Pittsburgh and Houston game 1 this year), and the front office & coach's current solution seems to be to let some of the better players walk (finnegan) and pretty much reconstruct the entire defensive backfield (...not to mention they seems to feel that the offensive line doesn't need new players, it just needs to perform better)

The team has much bigger needs they need to spend money on. Bringing in a 3rd quarterback for a year or two isn't going to magically make anything better, especially if the best this defense can still results in at best 20 pts a game (and he'd have to score more than 40 against the good ones).

If they do have all that much, maybe they should pick up finnegan and some other (big) defenders too

They don't have much room ($9M or so). So they will have to restructure a couple of contracts to land them (Long, Marshall). But it's still possible, and they are probably one of the favorites.

If he wants to stay in the AFC as it says, I'd say the odds are on the Chiefs. In fact AFC + Cap Money + Drama-free, really only leaves the Chiefs. The only thing going against them is Arrowhead, but that won't break them.

Arrowhead's a mark against them, why exactly? Just not a fan of that stadium?

Tough turf, not great weather conditions. Manning has been in a dome 13 years. I love Arrowhead, but it's not ideal for QBs.

Hope your right. Would love to see him go to San Fran or Arizona and just get him out of the AFC all together.
