Peyton Manning is done in Indy

He said he prefers AFC.

Doesn't mean that's where he will end up.

Peyton Manning's camp is aiming to make a decision on where he will play next season within the next week, according to sources, who add that while Manning prefers to stay in the AFC, he is open to playing in the NFC.

OK

You forgot Houston

Which actually gives him the best chance of winning a Super Bowl. IMHO Manning WILL NOT sign with San Fran

Seattle is highly possible too. They have a gifted and young offensive line, a good defense and a really good young RB. Plus, Pete Carroll will allow Manning to install the offense he desires without hesitation. KC is another real possiblity. Young offensive line, good young RBs, good young WRs and a stellar defense.

The only reason he went to Miami yesterday is because he has a condo there.

I can see him going to the Dolphins. They have one of the biggest OLines in the NFL. If he brings Wayne with him the Dolphins would be loaded on O. Not sure how their Defense is. I kind of want him to go to Kansas City. I'm not a huge NFL fan, so I'd like to see Peyton and Berry on the same team. My two favorite Vols.

6th best defense in the nfl last year.

The Dolphins have absolutely no upside. You got South Beach and great weather. It's a great place to live in if you got money, but no way he QBs that team unless he's just looking to cash in.

What are you talking about? Brandon Marshall has been a pro bowler, Devone Bess is one of the best slot guys just below Welker, Fasano decent similar tight end to dallas clark, 6th best defense last year, Reggie bush and possibly Reggie Wayne? Come on

If they signed Peyton I can just about guarantee they would get Wayne also. I think it would be a perfect fit.

Of the teams getting the most talk, I think Miami is the best option:

2011:
Rushing - 114.6 ypg, 4.2 ypc, 14 Rush TD's
Pass D - 7.2 YPA (18th)
Rush D - 3.7 YPA (3rd)
Total D - 345 YPG (15th), 19.6 PPG (6th)

Weapons - Marshall, Bush, Fasano, Bess, and like what's been said, Reggie Wayne probably follows him there.

No. Manning at this point is a short term rental. If he wants to win now, he needs to avoid Miami because they're not a contender with him and Wayne. And it's incredibly shortsighted for anyone to believe that not even knowing how healthy he is.

The thought of Vol-Manning bandwagoners and Gator-Tebow bandwagoners meeting at the Broncos makes me laugh at little. And believe me, on Broncos message boards there are a legion of Tebow fans with Gators avatars who never watched the Broncos before he was drafted. And we all know the Colt's fans in Tennessee will be moving accordingly. The rivalry lives.

Ill be rooting for whatever team Peyton lands with. Wherever he goes, Wayne will follow (or atleast will try). His best places to me are Denver, Arizona, or Kansas City.

I don't care which of those he ends up with. He'll be in the playoffs with all of those teams.

I've been in the same boat, but I went ahead and dropped the Colts as a favorite team way back when Irsay started talking stupid. I had no idea how stupid they'd be, but just wow... the Vols would be favored to beat what he has left in Indy, especially if they don't keep Freeney.

This could turn out to be the dumbest GM/Owner combo in the history of football. :hi:

I'm fine with Miami as well, in addition to the 3 you named. I'd love to see him play with a team of professionals on his side of the ball versus making do with what was a 2-win team without him.

Just saw the Colts have released Dallas Clark-TE, R.Wayne, G.Brackett-MLB, Freeny I think as well. If he goes to Miami, maybe they sign Wayne and D.Clark too? That would be nice. Along with B.Marshall and R.Bush!! Still think I'd like him in SF, I think that's his best chance at another ring or two. I know some are saying KC, I just don't think that would give him his best chance, they'd be a one and done probably in The playoffs.
