Peyton Manning sits on trainers face????

This os a perfect example of telling ten people the same story and getting it passed,, embellished, and a lie ensues. He never sat on a female face as has been stated by OP. Mooned in a male locker room and a female saw $$$$ which she grabbed....truth in history

And your account is more correct, because…??? Do you have any evidence? Citations? Or is it more correct simply because its what you want to think?

I don't know what happened here. I'd like to think Manning is great and did no wrong, but there is some evidence to the contrary. I think all the assaults on the alleged victim's character in this thread, without any citation or evidence, is rather disgusting, however.

Wrong

Well guess what, social media wasn't around so everyone got away with a lot. I bet that social media would have destroyed Miami in the 80s with all those characters. Kids(except for Bubba Winston down at FSwho?) in today's era know that cameras are everywhere so I'm sure if social media was around back then Peyton would have been more cautious. There's alot of things social media would have wrecked but it wasn't around and people got away with it. It's just the media always trying to take someone down for a juicy story

Er'body knew this

But do you know that

Seems like it would be more enjoyable if it was the other way around and she sat on his face.

Pretty sure for 15+ years, the story has been that he dropped his towel in front of her. She allegedly got enough in the settlement to make it worth it.
There was much more to it than PM dropping his towel. UT, not Manning, settle the suit for about $350K.

If this had happened today, Manning would be facing jail time and a season long suspension.

Now not just wrong, but sad, wilfull ignorance.

Was this money grubbing ho your sister? The story she originally accused him of was mooning her. She embellished later to make it sound worse. You are the ignorant one. Probably one of those idiots that hate Peyton for never beating Florida. All you guys that believe every story a woman says are the the ignorant ones. I am not responding any more to you...so piss off. :finger3:

You really aren't contributing much to the discourse. It is pretty clear that you are taking her and her lawyer's version of events as printed in the USA Today article in 2003 as gospel. I have some simple questions for you: Why call a Sexual Abuse Crisis Center rather than the police if you feel you have been sexually assaulted? Because that call would be indisputable while a call to the police could be easily verified and she saw this as an opportunity to make a lot of money from the moment it happened. She wasn't interested in having Manning prosecuted. She was interested in his dad's money and UT's money. Why did she continue to work as a trainer for the Tennessee football team for more than a year after the alleged incident if Manning had truly made her feel uncomfortable? Did she think she could hide from the highest profile athlete in the history of UT athletics? She didn't leave because she wasn't working in a hostile environment. She liked her job and wanted to keep it as long as possible. She only left when the terms of the settlement required her to do so. She has revealed herself to be an opportunist at every turn.

Anyone with any decent and common sense can not push any blame for what happened on Jamie Whited Naughtwright. This was all on Peyton Manning.

Young kids do stupid things.

I was laughing out loud over the hypocrisy of our fan base. Our fans were hating on Tyler Bray for throwing beer bottles, knowing full well what Manning had done and yet nobody hated on him afterwards.

Sadly, alot of women who are sexually assaulted report it to a crisis counselor and won't go to the police. I have friends who work as counselors and I hear about it alot. It makes me angry, because I feel like the women ought to always file charges so these creeps are dealt with, but it's a sad fact that many are intimidated by the system and do not do so. Unless you are suggesting (and I hope not , because that would make you a genuinely horrible human being) that all of these women are simply lying or out for money (which in their cases, wouldn't even be an option), then I don't think you can draw any conclusions from the alleged victim in this incident doing the same thing.

Most people can't just simply quit their job over one person or one incident. And why should they have to? I don't see why her not deciding to immediately lose her source of income makes her an opportunist.

Once again, I would like to believe that Manning isn't a bad guy or that he didn't do anything serious. But there really is no basis for people here to keep attacking the allege victim or keep making negative conclusions about her based on the flimsiest of evidence.

Did I say that? No, I am talking just about her...and she clearly had financial gains in mind from the start.

She didn't have to quit. She could have requested a transfer back to just being a trainer for the women's athletic teams and that request would have been accommodated. She did not. She stayed put for more than a year. Every time she has had an excuse to sue - she has sued. This was about money.

Iirc UT said he mooned her. I also heard they paid 2 settlements. Either way stealing and rape are in a whole other league.

The judge said there was enough evidence for a trial because of his comments about her having a "vulgar mouth". The judge made no ruling whatsoever on the defamation suit. Manning settled to avoid the publicity as most high profile businesses and individuals do. You are going off her statement that he sat on her face smearing his sack on her face in a locker room. She has been paid twice for this and tried to sue a third time.

This. Exactly. Someone either can't comprehend this or is intentionally trying to mislead people. The ruling that is being referred to had NOTHING to do with what did or did not happen in the locker room. It was all about whether or not she had a demonstrably vulgar mouth.

To be fair, her potty mouth was revealed when she told him "get your f****** nuts off my face, you a******."

There's a new movie coming. Dumb, Dumber and Dumbest. I suggest you try out, but I suspect you'll fail at that too.

UT settled, not Manning.
