Well, I gotta believe that Peyton will try to play again unless doctors tell him there is a chance of serious, permanent injury. He's too much of a competitor to hang it up now. I also wonder if his neck injury isn't the result of simply many years of dropping back and playing on artificial turf--which is much harder on the body/bone structure than grass. That's my theory: every time he drops back--three/four/five steps that create vibration throughout his body, and over time the cumulative effect of all those vibrations wreaks havoc on vertabrae (sp) in the neck. I will be consulting with Manning tomorrow.
