The 96 Florida game Peyton threw 4 INT's in the first half!! Thats one reason Florida scored over 30. Peyton was passing the whole second half of that game, Hence the passing record.
Second half of the Super Bowl...I do remember an INT he threw, that was ran back for a TD.
Bottom line.....Peyton=great stats.....he wins a lot, but not when it counts.
ELI>Peyton
ummmmm no just plain out revisionist history for ya and not taking into account the situation. Are you counting the INT where the dlineman had it land on his belly after being pancake blocked? What about the one that bounced off his receivers facemask to a defender? Or the ones that went through their hands, perfectly thrown ball that went out the back to the defender? Yeah, thought so. He can't thow the ball and catch it too, oh yeah he did for positive yardage once, but usually you can't do that LOL.
People like you will never, ever, ever admit that Peyton is one of the greatest of all time. Why? Because every time he proves you wrong you move the goal. Win big games in college? Check, he broke the Alabama streak, something that was just HUGE, and that was the biggest game of the year that year, much bigger than the Florida game. That's where all the pressure was, 8 in a row they said. He played lights out. It was the biggest game of the year, until he won it then it wasn't considered a big game.
Then he beat "the greatest team of all time" in Ohio state, where everyone said he couldn't do it. It was considered a huge game before he won it, afterwards, well it isn't a big game.
Same thing in the NFL, first it was win a big one, he did, then it was win in the playoffs, he did, then it was beat the pats when he had an inferior team, he did then it was "just one superbowl" then he did and now it's "multiple superbowls."
When he wins the second one you will be back on here saying "yeah but he isn't great or he would have 3" then if he gets the third you will move it to 4. He can't win with his detractors and he never will no matter what he does.
