What else could we want as a Peyton fan - he has to beat his arch nemesis to get to the SuperBowl? Now, let's just hope they get it done and he gets another ring to finally put to rest all of the nonsense about how he's a great regular season QB but average post season QB.

Peyton again clutch down the stretch - no surprise to anyone who has a clue.
Haters still gona hate - but they will suffer and watch our orange GOAT win the SB this year to shut them all up again. :)

I hope so. Pulling like hell for Peyton to get his 2nd ring. Was outstanding today.....was able to overcome a dreadful performance by his receivers....7 freakin drops. And to think some idiot in another Manning thread a month or so ago said Manning might have the best WR corp of all time....absolutely ridiculous. They're talented but my God they drop a ton of footballs.

Welker dropping that TD when he was falling backwards towards the end zone almost cost the Broncos big time - was a perfect throw and he already had it in his hands - that would have put the game away so much earlier. Welker is not even close as reliable as he used to be.

His neck seems to be doing just fine right now.

Ooh! Oooh! I see u can see that wi' yer cat (scan) eyes!

The orthopedic surgeons will determine how well his cervical vertebrae are doing ... (butt it seems they surely, surely will using input from ur CT eyes).

Welker, Decker, Julius Thomas all sucked today. Better not drop 7 passes next week or NE will embarrass them. Gonna need to play flawless football just to stay in the game.

Broncos will blow them out next week. The offense is too good even though they played very average today - so they are due to have one of those break out kick ass games. I don't see Patriots running the ball on Broncos like they did on Colts and I don't think Brady has enough weapons to win via air game.

Don't go and start posting things I agree with  time space continuum at risk

Tom Brady is a pretentious POS and it seems half of Bellichick's defense is from AL or FL.

Eff New England.

As for the OP...there is no way Manning would retire off of a record breaking season no matter the outcome of the playoffs.

It's as if you haven't paid attention at all. If he fails the physical, which might happen, he's done. You've made the dumbest post yet in this realistic thread.

Fail a physical? Are you kidding me? Yeah, he looks like he can barely move...

Right. So if Peyton has new damage that could cause him paralysis or worse, he is definitely going to play?

He was only sacked 18 times all season. Didn't take one today. It's not like he's taking major hits and spending all his time in the turf. He just played his greatest football to date. He looks like he has another 3 or 4 seasons in him competing at a championship level.

Read this article on the internet, so it must be true! At least it wasn't released by the government, which we don't trust!

I root for two team's above all others:

1. The University of Tennessee

2. Whoever Peyton Manning plays for

...

I adopted the Texans after my son started liking them after living with his grandparents in Houston for a year while my wife and I were deployed in Afghanistan. However, Tennessee and Peyton are (and will always be) my top priorities.

Go Vols!

I liked the colts except for when they played the chargers.

I've hated the Broncos ever since Ed Hocule* screwed us out of a game when Cutler was QB

Lots of moody posters in this thread. Mood swings, another reason I hate the Crimson Tide.

i think unfortunately the patriots run thru the broncos. hopefully paul revere will slow down just enough so peyton can lasso him and billy b and tom shady for a loss.

1. Paul Revere did slow down. He was drunk that night after spending time drinking in the local tavern and got dragged off his horse by the Tories after covering barely ten miles. 16 year ol Sybil Ludington (daughter of a militia commander) on the other hand rode bareback and with a stick to beat on doors, covered 40 some miles. She's the real reason that militia mustered the majority of their men on hand. But women don't get preferable history writing so. . . . However, if you've ever ridden a horse bareback, you'd know what a feat this was.

2. I'm hoping like heck the Broncos (even though I'm not really a fan) beat the Pats. Peyton has a history of choking in big games. Throwing interceptions and making mistakes he didn't all season. So I really want to see him out-duel Brady and do it decisively.
