Peyton's Last Game might be today so watch.

I saw NE spot Denver 24 pts earlier this year before rallying to win. I saw NE line up and thoroughly dominate a Colts team that was playing well, who beat the Broncos earlier this year..... by being one dimensional on offense/running the ball down their throats. Brady and the passing game were virtually nonexistent. Denver lost a starting CB with a torn ACL today and their other CB, Jammer, was absolutely toasted all day yesterday.... by a rookie.

I've seen Belichick/Brady beat Peyton time and time again. I think NE is playing better football than Denver right now .... I stand by my original statement.... The Broncos will have to play their best game of the year to beat NE.

Regarding your Alabama comment.... they are very similar. Bama is the best program in the SEC, probably all of college football. NE is easily the best organization in the NFL IMHO.

Careful KBVOL. If you post something that doesn't identify you as someone who sucks toe jam from the Volgod's toes, you're evil. It doesn't matter if you're a big Peyton fan and pulling for his team to win but happen to think it won't happen. You're seen as being so evil words in the human language don't exist to describe you.

I too think the Pats will win but I'm hoping the Bronco OL makes Pey untouchable. That he doesn't throw interceptions in this big game and send the Pats home as crybabies. But deep down, I think the Pats have too many advantages for Denver to win. That won't stop me from watching and cheering loudly, not giving a damn what the neighbors think. Even if I'm evil incarnate for daring to think Pey may not win the game. So you do have company.

Well, I haven't asked his political affiliation? But whatever it is, yeah, I'm sure he is unless he's an Independent. :)

Instead of making baseless assumptions why don't you read that article he wrote about Peyton and point out what is inaccurate or biased?

Totally agree with all of this. The Patriots actually should have home field advantage. The Carolina and Jets losses were very bad calls by the refs. The Patriots are playing very good football with no names and rookies. Denver will have to play a near perfect game to win. Stephen A said Denver will have to put up at least 40 points to win and I agree.

There are really no excuses for Peyton not to beat the Patriots. He has the best offense of all time, is at home and I don't think it's supposed to snow. Until they actually do it, I have a hard time picking Denver to win.

Also, instead of calling that espn article biased why don't you explain where they went wrong? All I saw was a factual analysis that shows that 7 out of 11 of Peytons losses were caused by a single play (mistake by a teammate of his every time - and they went through all of them and clearly spelled out exactly what happened on those plays). So where is the bias in that?

Well, there's plenty of bias if they're acting like Manning is blameless for those playoff losses.

That is completely overblown. Read this breakdown of his 11 playoff losses to see how many of them are actually his fault.

Schefter's Blitz - It all falls on Peyton Manning - ESPN
I find this ridiculous. I'm a huge Peyton Manning fan but to blame his losses on the lack of execution by one player is ridiculous. It's a team game and there are a ton of "what-ifs" that happen in every game.

Peyton himself said if they had executed their 4 minute offense last year, Baltimore would have never gotten the ball back and the Denver D wouldn't have blown that coverage.

QB's get way too much credit for victories and too much blame for losses. Of course if he goes out and throws 4 INT's Sunday, then that would obviously be on Peyton. Personally, I'm hoping Brady throws 4 INTs while Peyton throws for 7 TDs. Go BRONCOS.

1. Cool it, just because I disagree with you is no reason to get all uppity.

2. I had read the article before you mentioned it here and it did little to change my view beyond what it was.
I also once saw a very convincing video of an E.T. and still believe it was a fake.

3. Finally, I don't consider the article or Peyton's ultimate decision something to get all hot and bothered about as you are. Now, on the other hand if you contracted to pay me a major sum to thoroughly investigate the matter, I might be interested.

Peyton's my favorite player, don't pull for any other nfl player like I do for him. Great player, great guy, great VFL. But things are what they are with respect to Belichich/Brady/NE..... they win despite constant shake ups in their personnel, it's amazing. I don't think Brady does for his team what Peyton has and has always done for his....it's different and Peyton's been asked to do more.

The Pats are a tough minded, confident team that can win playing multiple styles. I'm absolutely sick if seeing them constantly win and hope that Peyton and the Broncos stomp a mud hole in them on Sunday. But I gotta think it's gonna be very difficult to do.

Understood, I'll salute you and our man Pey by raising a bottle of Red Bridge when the game starts. And root for them to win despite any and all odds.

What a non-story. Do you think his neck is in better shape now when he has at least most of the way back physically or early last year when he was cleared despite throwing dead ducks around the field with the weakest arm in the league?

Yeah, I have to agree with KBVol on all of this. I think the Patriots win this weekend. Would love to see Manning get to another Super Bowl and the Broncos were my favorite pro team growing up, but Belichick has done so much this year with so little and, while they have stumbled a bit here and there, they've pretty much won every big game they've had. The Broncos are missing their best pass rusher and their best corner. The Chargers had them on the ropes and the Patriots are better than the Chargers, with a similar style of play. Plus, it has to be said, Manning does alot, but he can rarely take it to another level or put the team on his back when it comes time for the postseason. I'll be shocked if the Broncos advance.

Peyton will move to 11-11 in the postseason Sunday and 2-2 vs Brady in the playoffs.

Broncos should have won in NE when Pats even had Gronkowski available. He is their biggest offensive weapon and I think not having him will turn them into mostly running team (as against Colts). But the Broncos just showed they can shut down a pretty good running game of Chargers. Also, I think Welker will have something to say in this game (statement game for him). This plus Broncos at home in supposedly decent playing conditions should be all Broncos need.
I predict Broncos will blow them out.

Bumps for the game. I think the broncos only chance to win will be to get the lead first. Force brady to throw and not use that 250 lb boulder.

It wouldn't surprise me to see the Pats come out throwing since Denver's secondary is depleted with injuries and their pass rush took a major hit with Von Miller being out. Belechik is great at finding a weakness and exploiting it. They didn't have to throw last week so they didn't. Brady has enough weapons to have a good passing attack as long as he's under center.

I think it's going to be a slug fest and I think Denver will need to have a balanced attack to win. However, it would be nice to see Peyton throw for 5 TD's. :dance2:

Dammit...I live in a condo in town. One more reason to move to the country.....worm porn.

Shows you what happens when the team Peyton is playing for actually has a defense. Makes you wonder how many rings there would be on his finger from the Colts if he had the Denver defense that he had tonight backing him up.

Granted, now on to whup someone in the superbowl but no doubt Peyton looked good tonight except for a few overthrows. :dance2:
