Sinking is several years below average.

We won the East last year and had the #1 recruiting class.

It's laughable to think we are all the sudden a terrible team.

People are just mad and want to blame someone.

Sadly, all those crying and whining are the ones who disappear when we win the East

It's laughable to think we are a terrible team? I think we are.

We won the east last year and had the #1 recruiting class. Shouldn't we be going to a bowl game, then? Shouldn't we be better than 4-6 with the SAME EXACT OFFENSIVE team we had last year that went 10-3?

I am sorry but we are living in fantasyland because we think a coach who has won the East 4 times and the SEC twice and a NC will have us contending for the SEC again?

Good lord, get a clue

No body believes here when I say that.

Yes, it is laughable. Our players have shown in the past that they can win at a very high rate.

Things didn't go our way this year...it happens to EVERYONE

Paterno, bryant, everybody has bad years.

We can't go those players "from the past."

I still don't know how you think the #3 team in the country on the first day of the season with high expectations, that doesn't even have a winning record, is laughable.

I sure am glad that foggy situation we had with RS has cleared.  Man, just think if RS didn't resign.  We would have lost to ND and Vandy.

So all those returning players from last year's team suddenly didn't play on last year's team?

Very interesting.

Makes no sense whatsoever but interesting.

Your "Band Wagon" Fans comments is totally out of line. When we lose to the Gamecocks and Vanderbilt then people have the right to question. This just isn't losing one or two. It has been a disturbing trend that needs to be addressed.

Oh please, this isn't questioning. That is fine. I do that all the time.

Give me a break.

This is overboard crying from hypocritical UT fans (I doubt many actually are though seeing as how they mostly seem to be newbies) who bashed UF and other schools for the same thing

Makes no since whatsoever that the best we can finish is 5th in the SEC East with those same players.

BTW, I'm sure you weren't talking about last year's team when you said "from the past."

When I said in the past, it was a simple and easy to understand reference to the 10 win teams of 2003 and 2004.

I can remember the days when playing here in Neyland Stadium alone was intimidating for every opponent. Hearing over 100K screaming fans was the greatest intimidation factor out there.

Now everyone INLCUDING VANDY can come in here and hand our @sses to us.....this is not an off-year. This is an epidemic....a disease....a cancer. If you have experience and talent like this and this is the result? I hear "well we won the East last year". Well with many of those same players we bottomed the East this year.....

We went from First to Worst in a year......

There is something seriously wrong with this team. This is Fulmer's ship and he let it get to this point. First letting it get to this point is pathetic. But not being able to right it???

An epidemic, diease, a cancer? We won the east last year. We won the east LAST YEAR! It has been a terrible year but people act like this has been a 6-5 team every year.

no they just look like it. boring even when they win, and winning the east means nothing unless you win the championship game. fulmer has even stated that, you say at times i don't have a point thats fine, but what is yours. every team starts off with one goal win the sec, not east or west, the sec. fulmer has stated that this is tennessee's goal. he hasn't done it since 98.
