Phil Fulmer

Yeah, I noticed that too.  Either calling someone a crybaby, bandwagon fan, newbie, or trying to post a picture that doesn't work.

yeah, he is a little tipsy i believe.

I tried to think  of ten reasons to keep him as HC:

!)
2)
3)
4)
5)
6)
7)
8)
9)
10)

(I came up blank)

Reason #10 - if you keep him, you'll make every SEC coach happy, including Fulmer. :birgits_giggle:

This season has led many a UT fan to drinking.

I was all for Phil guys but at what point do we make a change.Today when we had the ball on the 6, second down and three, we pass. WHY?We run the ball 3 times. Another stinking field goal. We averaged 6 yards a carry today. That was bad.I love the Vols too much not to speak my piece. If we lose to Kentucky. Bye Phil. I liked Majors until a point as well.

Two things I know...............Majors is happy as heck tonite and Tennessee has the best running backs bar none. That is what excites me next year!

Yes, it is laughable. Our players have shown in the past that they can win at a very high rate.

Things didn't go our way this year...it happens to EVERYONE

Paterno, bryant, everybody has bad years.

To even mention the name if Fulmer with Bryant and Paterno is blasphemy. I am neither an Alabama or Penn State fan, but to put Fulmer in that category is ridiculous.
Give me a break Mrs. Fulmer.

So you are saying that Fulmer is as good of coach as Bryant and Paterno? At least during Paterno's bad years he was producing young men that could transfer into society with decent lives and decent jobs. Fulmer is spitting out kids that have criminal records and no education.
Now I know you are related to Fulmer.

Or do you stick with a coach that bleeds for his own college and let him get you through this like Joe Pa did at Penn State..thats top 5 PSU now.

 every coach has a bad season sooner or later. I would like to see if he can pull us out next season....but....off season has to produce some good changes. need to lock down OC as soon as last game at KY is over. If next season we cant turn it around then some serious looks need to be made at the top. imo

All i know is it is embarassing to lose to vandy or
south carolina anytime, memphis melrose has more talent than them 2 teams, something has got to be done on the hill
to get this thing turned around & i think it starts at the top!

Where did I say that?

If fulmer isnt responsible then why pay him 2 million a year? obviously someone thinks he is the one bringing the wins.

Y'all just need to calm on down. There's no bleedin' way PF could have turned this season around in 3 weeks. I DO think changes need to be made, but he has to have time to make them.

Yes, this is the season from hell, but if he can pour some water on that brimstone next year and turn out a different sort of product, I'm all for his staying. I just think he deserves an honest to God chance to do it...and that will take more than 3 weeks.

To heck with bad games or bad seasons. The one big thing that joined Bryant and Paterno is the same thing that keeps them separated from Fulmer. It's called respect. You might hate them because of their devotion to their schools, their longevity and/or winning records. But those are qualities I admired in Bear Bryant, and I still do in JoPa. Of all the things I know or have ever heard about Bear Bryant or Joe Paterno, I've never heard anything that would make me disrespect either of them.
:shades:

I have heard some say he is a GREAT recruiter but he let a GREAT one get away that wanted to play at UT because FULMER said he was too slow......You might of heard of this kid, his name is SIDNEY RICE and he reigns from my hometown!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He won't get fired next season or the season after that. One reason. HIS CONTRACT IS TOO EXPENSIVE. Get over it and hope that he can turn it around. He still has six years left on his contract. He has to get his team under control and that should be priority #1. We will see after that.

Fulmer is the best coach in the SEC...
He should have his job as long as he wants it...
