The Bradley Central talk was before he started talking about going to a prep school. Bradley Central is not a prep school.

The latest is that Jurick will be in Knoxville yet again tomorrow on another unofficial. This has commitment time written all over it.

That's what I thought. Chris Low is reporting that we lead for Elliot Williams at the moment. Also thinks we'll sign him, Jurick, Singleton, and possibly another guard prospect. Perhaps Teondre Williams. Nobody really has a good feel on who Darius favors at the moment.

I don't know. I would really like Emmanuel Negedu, Troy Gillenwater, or Darius Miller with that last scholly but any would be a hard land. It seems like Williams is definitely gonna get the hard press now. Hopefully he has a very good relationship with Pearl.

Williams and Chris Walker have a good relationship, and they have hung out a couple of times in memphis according to a colleague

Williams would definitely be a solid land. The latest Rival's article says he won't be doing anything soon though and will wait till the fall to take visits.

Negedu will probably end up in Tucson. And nobody really has a good feel on Darius. Teondre is a late bloomer due to him playing football for so long. He is a very athletic guard prospect from all accounts. He's just got to polish up a few areas in his game. I expect his ranking to rise steadily in the summer evaluation periods.

Yeah, Negedu's coach said that if he commits in the next month that it will be to Zona but, if he makes more visits, UT is next. I think Darius ends up at UK. I really like Gillenwater though. Put him and Singleton on the floor along with Williams and wow. I've not seen much of Teondre though. I've heard a little.

Duke also has offered as well as Texas and Memphis and a host of others.

he said he does not have any interest in Duke, Texas is not in his top 5 that he mentioned, and Memphis has offered but already signed PG Derrick Rose from the 07 class... Georgia Tech has also signed a PG from the 07 class (cant remember his name at the moment)... so i'd have to say we are the favorite over Clemson, Vandy, Virginia and Memphis considering he will have an excellent chance to play early at UT

I'd say we have the best shot right now. I would think us, Memphis or Vandy. I think Rose is gone after a year and Vandy has great academics which he wants.

News: J.P. Prince recently measured out at 6'8. Having grown a 1/2 inch since arriving in Knoxville. He has also gained 20 lbs in the process. That being said, he will be used in the 1, 2, and 3 next season. Coach Pearl has been impressed with his progress according to reports.

With the addition of Prince and Tatum, our guard depth has increased substantially going into to next year. This will keep Lofton's legs fresher at the end of games. I'll see what happens with Tyler's hardship aspirations before projecting further details about our lineups next season.

Hopefully Prince can take away Howell's playing time, with maybe Lofton rotating to the point when Prince is on the floor. Prince could give Ramar a break. I know Prince can handle the ball, but I don't know if he can run the point.

This would improve the level of play, I think, offensively and defensively.

he ran the point a lot in high school and at Zona when he got in the game if that means anything
