unless ofcourse Brian Williams will play 20 minutes as Tony Jones stated before

If Tyler Smith transfers to Tennessee and wins his hardship case, Brian Williams would likely redshirt. There just wouldn't be any room for him in the rotation, unless Pearl wanted to go 11-12 deep-- which he usually won't do.
man our depth is goin to be sick for opponents next season! cant wait!!:dance2:
Here's what I think the rotation will be.
Assuming the Tyler Smith situation works out:
G- Ramar Smith, So. (Jordan Howell, Sr.)
G- Chris Lofton, Sr. (Josh Tabb, So.)
G- JaJuan Smith, Sr. (Cameron Tatum, Fr.)
F- Tyler Smith, So. (Ryan Childress, Jr.)
F- Wayne Chism, So. (Duke Crews, So.)
Once J.P. Prince is eligible:
G- Ramar Smith (J.P. Prince)*
G- Chris Lofton (Josh Tabb)
G- JaJuan Smith (Cameron Tatum)
F- Tyler Smith (Ryan Childress)
F- Wayne Chism (Duke Crews)
*With the possibility of Lofton running the point when Prince and him are both on the floor.
sounds about right... but is Tyler a 4? i thought he was a 3...
He is, but do you think he's going to come in and take JaJuan Smith's starting job? Not a chance. Plus, he's big and quick enough to abuse a few people trying to guard him in the post. He could also take them out on the perimeter to spread the floor. The biggest question mark would be whether he can guard the post.
It's a bigger lineup than we had last season.
I think you guys are right about the lineup, but a much more conventional lineup would be Ramar, Lofton, Tyler, Crews, and Chism. That would make it much easier for us to match up against other teams. Perhaps we will see that group on the floor together some time while J. Smith is getting a breather.

Latest report is that Lofton will spell Ramar at PG for about 10 minutes a game. The surpise is, at that point Howell will lose PG minutes but basically just turn them in for SG minutes when Lofton shifts to PG. Pearl said he wants Howell to focus on just shooting the basketball next season. He says he will be 'Lee Humphrey like' in his play. At least, that is the hope.
I like that lineup as well. It's just great to have that kind of depth, where more than 5 players are talented enough to start in the SEC. Hopefully we'll get used to this.
