The surpise is, at that point Howell will lose PG minutes but basically just turn them in for SG minutes when Lofton shifts to PG. Pearl said he wants Howell to focus on just shooting the basketball next season. He says he will be 'Lee Humphrey like' in his play. At least, that is the hope.
