I am sad for Phil and happy for a new day. I think we should honor the man. He has done more for Tennessee than any coach outside of Neyland. What a coach, what a man, what a tradition that is The University of Tennessee Volunteers!

Holy Crap! It's one thing to speculate, but now...oh man, I'm wondering who they will go after. With the announcement coming at the first of November I would imagine they'll try to have the replacement announced by Feb or so, wouldn't you?

wow, i can't believe it. it's sad, but something had to be done. thanks for everything phil. if your near a t.v. on the run down on sportscenter it's fourth.

Thank God.....Now I can go on with my life. I've been so damn depressed the past month due our crappy coaching staff bringing down THE University of Tennessee. Cant wait to see what new blood we get in here.

ok.. I will have to be around at 5:00. I find it hard to believe still. I will have to hear fulmer actually say the words for me to believe it.

Wow. I amazed at the rush of feelings that this announcement triggers. What an era the Fulmer era has been for Tennessee football--a monumental work.
