Pig Howard tweet

You realize we just aren't very good, right?

And did you see our defense, who struggled most of the day, hunker down and make big plays to keep S. Bama out of the end zone at the end? Had they quit, we would have lost.

This goes without saying but the Defense didn't get helped out by the Offense constantly going 3-n-out in the 3rd Quarter.

That's when the egregioius depth issues will come to surface. We don't have an SEC roster in depth, particularly at DB and LB.

Hopefully Riyahd Jones and Mike Williams are playing shape and ready by Mizzou rolls around.

LB depth is still completely atrocious. 2 converted Safeties to go with an injured OLB and 5 total (including Maggitt) LB commits in the last 3 years combined. One of those commits is Vereen and he's off to DE which was also poorly recruited by Dooley.

I'll let that just sit out there. 5 LBs committed under 3 years of Dooley.

DBs are worse.

He's probably upset about CBJ yelling at him after the interception.

I think there might be some animosity toward Worley right now among the offense.

I have a lot of animosity towards Worley right now...

And let me issue a disclaimer that I'm not happy with the USA performance and depth/talent isn't an excuse against a Sun Belt team that has only had a program since 2009.

I don't think anyone is pleased with that second half today.

This is prob the wrong thread but most of the offensive players looked very frustrated with Worley. North gave him a look a few times when Worley was unable to get it remotely close to him. It will only get worse. 5 games is more than enough time to prove your worth.

Thus far, Jones has amounted to little more than a better recruiting version of Dooley.

If Butch keeps his current class together you can say that. But not now - Dooley brought in Hunter and D Rogers as soon as he joined (he had even less time than Butch when he was hired for his first class and did better than Butch early on - Dooley also had worse recruiting situation in terms of potential sanctions hanging over the program after Kiffin left).

I would hate to see him go but I wouldn't blame him for wanting to quit.

I would. He would be a quiter. This country is going to nose dive because of the fast food mentality and the I want it now attitude. Some times it takes time and effort. Not free hand out. Good freaking god
