It's not just tonight, he's under 60%. It's crazy that these players can't knock down a free throw. It's not just him, but a lot of exceptional teams can't consistently him them. Teams need to put more emphassis on FT shooting.

HE can't do it all on his own. Played right, then Duke can withstand it, but in a slow tempo game it shows.

I have said Paulus sucks since halfway through his freshman campaign.

I always said Paulus couldn't beat my friend (a slow 240 lb white kid) off the dribble and McRoberts couldn't have posted up on me (a 5'10 white kid with no hops).

And a good coach, ie, Dixon, figured out Duke can't do anything down low and slowed the game down and Pitt took over. Every team with a big man is now going to run that same type of plan against Duke. Zoubek is worthless.

Yeah thats the name I was looking for. But anyways you were campaigning your hatred for McRoberts and I was with Paulus. And you have not said much about him with me, you may have others, and you know this, we've had our discussion about the two.

I have mentioned to you that Paulus is improving. But I've always hounded him for his ball handling, passing and defense. In all three of those areas he has nowhere to go but up. Out of all the things I look for in a PG, being a spot shooter is near the bottom, just above being a really good rebounder.

no. TFan07, for all his faults, knows I've complained about Paulus for quite some time. I'm not wishy washy at all. When you are as bad as Paulus is, improving is all you can do. With McRoberts gone, Paulus' faults just stand out even more now.

Was wondering that myself, I watched it from the waiting room at Labor and Delivery....Looked bad, I am guess torn ACL don't know for sure....

confused me a bit, since i am a duke fan (but never over UT). I'm a K and Knight fan to the end, but that's an Army hoops thing.
