Pitt. v. Duke thread

What does this have to do with me saying that he gets away with stuff? I never said he didn't give effort.

You're insane if you think he's getting away with fouls (I don't know how you're defining "stuff"). He's absorbing two fouls for every one that gets called on guys guarding him. He does occasionally get away with shuffling his feet in the low post, but many of those foot shuffles are due to him getting fouled without the foul being called.

Hansborough is the most pampered player in college basketball. I look forward to him taking his act to the NBA. It'll take about a week before someone goes Kermit Washington on him. Then, he'll cry to the officials and they'll laugh at him.

You're insane for making him out to be something he isn't. Roy Hibbert, Kevin Love, Michael Beasley, Trent Plaisted(he schooled him earlier this season) all are better. Do I need to keep going? He's not close to being the best post player in America.

Yes. He's pampered. What BS. :lolabove: Take special note, Hat, that I've never claimed he will be a good NBA player. He's a great college player, but his game won't translate well to the NBA.

I think so too. It was funny last night even the commentators mentioned that during last night's game when he was "supposedly" fouled without being touched, but they were giving it because he's Hansborough.

I do agree with you on all of that.

Paulus sucks. As I said before, he always makes me nervous having the ball.

Thanks for seeing my way now VFB :p

And I would like to add one more point for you VFB. I didn't realize how badly we sucked a free throws. Did Duke even make half of them?

The free throw thing is a new development. Every other point I made is something I've said all season. I don't see how i'm seeing your point "now".

Nelson is the one that sucks. He's a Senior for goodness sakes. He's never been a solid FT shooter.

Nelson kept Duke in that game. He was the only on offense trying to make something happen in the second half. Don't even start to ridicule him. But I shouldn't expect much basketball knowledge from you. You've shown your faults time and time again.

I'm not ridiculing him. He was 5-8 on FT's. The stats speak for themselves.

My greatest wish is that Sucko T's first NBA game is against Golden State. He can do one of his spastic rushes to the hoop and clip Ste Jax with an elbow. Then, he will get beat worse than those idiot fans in The Palace.

the whole team was missing free throws. No reason to throw him solely under the bus. How about no one getting rebounds? a 47-32 edge in favor of Pitt. That was a lot more painful than the missed free throws.

I'm finished with this. Arguing with the mentally unstable is like trying to argue with a 2 year old. They'll never admit their faults.

Zoubek isn't capable of carrying the load down low. He needs a complementory player to help him out.

Because I've said it all along about Paulus to you....you started with me and the dude that left. :p

Henderson was 1-4, McClure 1-2, Thomas 1-3, and Singler 4-6. In retrospect, 5-8 isn't that bad. At least he was drawing fouls.

Actually it was 50-38, but Pitt definitely looked good on the boards

your last two posts are quite ironic. You've said all along Zoubek was capable. All he had to do was play solid. Now you're backtracking and saying he needs help?
