i don't know how good or bad the Titans will be, but i was most interested in seeing how our offensive line looked against their front 7. Houston is good up front, and i was fairly impressed with how they looked. but we've had a tendency the last couple of years to start strong and fade down the stretch.

we'll see, but early returns are good.

a win on the road against a division rival that was supposed to be a contender this year.........i'll take it. 2-0.

the oline is a concern.......and so is the aging front on defense.......we'll see how it goes in the regular season.......but i think this team will be good......but the schedule may not allow it to matter.....they could be really good and only go 9-7 and miss the playoffs........

i know this much.......o line has to pass protect better.
anybody see the game yesterday? 9 sacks allowed.

that has got to change or this could be one of the longest seasons ever. and Ben will get his head knocked off.

o line was pathetic and the coaches did a poor job of helping ben out with quicker routes, roll outs.......anything to get the ball out of his hands quicker.

a running game would have been nice, but noooooooo..........

i'm still ver concerned about us up front on both sides.

Eagles defense is insane.
Let's hire their D Coordinator as our coach.

what was frustrating for me was the lack of adjustments to the pressure. all they did was put in max protect. didn't change much else. really frustrating.

defensively, we went soft. everything in front. did apply some good pressure in the game, but not near enought. tells me they don't have confidence in the db's.

Jake, when the Jags and Steelers lockup in 2 weeks, DG and Big Ben may not finish. Our lines may get them killed.

if recent history holds true, the jags will punch us in the mouth and we'll have no answer.

the jags d line should have all 5 steeler o linemen up at night working out....or praying. either way.

I'm worried the Jags won't be able to throw. It might be another 9-3 classic. :good!:

It was a very rough game to watch. Still not sold on Tomlin just yet. Some bonehead mistakes made, like not kicking the FG there at the end and trying for an onside kick. No adjustments made at the half to help out Ben. Were lucky to even have him in one piece after that self destruction of the o-line.

Alright Manic and Jake. They are not my team, can't stand em but, why didn't they address Oline at all? They let AF go in FA and drafted no one. Their line was bad last year.

there was a serious belief that htey may get better by subtraction.......there were rumors that faneca did not take to bruce arians offense and many times just did what he always did, regardless........who knows.........but it was apparent last year, apparent in the off season, pre season and thus far, that the O line is an issue.....

they tried to address in free agency, but got nothing of any help.....they got a former panther O linement that sucked.

One of my favorites for sure.... It always reminds me of those national geographic shows where the Owl snatches a mouse off the ground. :)

oh the agony that is our offensive line.

great night by the defense and Ben made plays despite th oline.

i still think it's going to be a long year.........but good win, and good 2nd half adjustments.

whew.............

i definitley don't like the match up between our o line and your def front.

plus we're down to our 4th string running back (who incidentally had the play of the game last night in OT).

unless something drastically changes, i'll be shocked if we win this game. it's a terrible match up for us.

I was watching the pre game and though I heard something about Mendenhall talking smack to the Ravens defense. Is this true? If so, what the hell was he thinking? How bad is his injury, and wasn't it Ray Lewis that hit him knocking him out the game?

He is gone for the year.

He was texting his buddy on the Ravens that he was going to run over them.

Gotta like his confidence I guess. Now he won't be playing anymore.

I like a rookie with quiet confidence. What he did was give the other team bulletin board material. Just so happened to be a team with one of the most physical defenses too. He should have known veterans like Ray Lewis would take that kind of thing personal and use it. I think it was very stupid on his part.

The Steelers have been opening mouth and inserting foot lately. I don't think B Cower would have put up with it.

he apparently sent a text message to Ray Rice, back up rookie rb for the ravens, and a buddy of his, that basically said he was going to have a big game on MOnday.

it wasn't anything he said to the media or anything....just something he and a buddy were probably going back and forth about. and his buddy, decided to share it with the rest of the Ravens' defense.

i call it bad luck and poor choice of friends:p

yes, the injury was caused by a hit from Ray Lewis and Mendenhall is done for the season.

welcome to the NFL rook.

The offensive line kills me. They will not win many games unless they can give Ben enough time to get the ball to his recievers.
