Yes we do..If nothing else, for competition and injury backup. So far Milton hasn't shown he can be a reliable starter,Jackson we have no clue and with Nico I believe will be a beast. But he hasn't stepped foot on campus yet plus 5* QB's flop every year. It's single handedly the hardest position to predict. Until a QB gets on campus it's impossible to know how good and what type player he will be. I would love for Nico to take make it impossible not to play him his FR year.So to respond to your response, yes we do need a QB.

I am very impressed so far with just the few that has hit the portal from Tennesssee, CJH has done a very good job keeping the players we need. Out of the few that have left who do you think hurt the most, the one I am assuming is the RB Williams-Thomas

Almost everyone stating we need a QB to cover Milton, which may or may not be true but I looked at all the QB's transferring so far and only thing I see is a bunch of backups that didnt play much. Yes there are a few who started but I think just ride with JM and let TJ and Nico backup and if we lose 3 games it will not be the end of the world

Does anyone know when the moves will actually start to take place? I think players can enter the portal well into January.

Does anyone know how many Tennessee can accept via transfer? I know a few are leaving Tennessee via portal, so I'm assuming they can fill the spots of those exiting?

They can move now for 45 days after NCP picks were made. Then again for 15 days in Spring.

No limits on #s except if scholly given. Plus overall team cap... 125.

Milton will be fine and Jackson will as well. So no we don’t NEED a QB.

I hate to see Whitehead leave. We need all the RB's we can get and he did just fine. As much as I would like to see another seasoned QB come in to challenge Milton for next season, I also don't want a total lack of continuity at the QB position. We need to scrape Milton at the first opportunity and bring in someone younger who will carry the team for the next few seasons.

Not yet but they are coming. The same was true last year. Kirby spoke about his appreciation for the player's willingness to wait and not create distractions a year ago. Ultimately, 13 entered the portal a year ago. I expect a similar number this year, as UGA only has 9 scholarship seniors but currently has 22/23 commitments and has also offered 2 wrs currently in the portal.

Who cares how many players UGA loses or gains? Kirby and his dirty dawgs can eat a fat one and choke on it.

Why do Tennessee fans act like this? It's always been the case, too. I can remember at my first UT game, against the Gators, seeing a Vol fan on top of an RV between the strip and Neyland, with a giant orange foam hand and an extended middle finger, gyrating his hips, cussing, and wagging that hand at all of the UF people. You could see him for hundreds of yards in the open area. I just thought how classless he made everyone look. That's sort of how these kind of comments reflect on everyone else.

You can think that all you want. It’s obvious you are either not that big of a TN football fan or you are very new. As a die hard TN football fan, hating UGA with every fiber of my being is just how I am and every TN football fan I know is the same way.

Why are TN fans this way? Because we loathe teams like UGA, UF and Bama. The fact that this has to be explained to you is sad.

For next year, I'm not so sure. I'm just hoping for Milton to be the kind of qb his physical tools indicate he could be. If not, we'd better pray to the football gods that TJ or Nico are going to be ready to play in this league.

question is what QB that can beat out JM , Jack or Nic. The odds or so low that I feel we are not in the running for some of these QB's that are wanting an almost guaranteed starter. There are some low level QBs like ETSU that may be happy with a 3rd or 4th string. Look you have Slovis and Daniels doing it 2 years in a row in my opinion this most important role can be the downfall of teams overall with wholesale changes like Pitt & WV did. It hurt their programs and now they're starting over again. They may tailspin for 10 to 15 years.
