I wanted to see what the bigger back could do. Unfortunately, everyone doesn’t get on the field as a freshman. Work for it.I am very impressed so far with just the few that has hit the portal from Tennesssee, CJH has done a very good job keeping the players we need. Out of the few that have left who do you think hurt the most, the one I am assuming is the RB Williams-Thomas
Why do Tennessee fans act like this? It's always been the case, too. I can remember at my first UT game, against the Gators, seeing a Vol fan on top of an RV between the strip and Neyland, with a giant orange foam hand and an extended middle finger, gyrating his hips, cussing, and wagging that hand at all of the UF people. You could see him for hundreds of yards in the open area. I just thought how classless he made everyone look. That's sort of how these kind of comments reflect on everyone else.
He’s a Georgia fan
The cap on players and the cap on schollys are 2 different caps.
* 85 max scholarships (although we may be under that - self imposed)
*125 max players on the team
* No limits on NIL deals whatsoever.
So, in theory, we could have 85 players on scholly and another 40 with killer NIL deals. Hell, we could have 125 players all earning $1M+.
It's a brand new world ripe for the plucking for those teams with fans and mega boosters willing to pony up.
Given the NCAA got it's butt handed to it over this, and given there is no equivalent of a "salary cap" per the NFL, the NCAA natty can essentially be 100% bought now.
I still say if fans in the NE and far West really loved football like the South, we would see a return to the days of Yale and Harvard ruling the roost again - given their huge $$$ base. How screwed up is that?!
