I wanted to see what the bigger back could do. Unfortunately, everyone doesn’t get on the field as a freshman. Work for it.

You can think that all you want. It’s obvious you are either not that big of a TN football fan or you are very new. As a die hard TN football fan, hating UGA with every fiber of my being is just how I am and every TN football fan I know is the same way.

Why are TN fans this way? Because we loathe teams like UGA, UF and Bama. The fact that this has to be explained to you is sad.

It's a brand new world ripe for the plucking for those teams with fans and mega boosters willing to pony up.

Given the NCAA got it's butt handed to it over this, and given there is no equivalent of a "salary cap" per the NFL, the NCAA natty can essentially be 100% bought now.

I still say if fans in the NE and far West really loved football like the South, we would see a return to the days of Yale and Harvard ruling the roost again - given their huge $$$ base. How screwed up is that?!

Gotcha. I got confused with the total scholarships and total players. Yeah that’s wild.

Let me also say I don't care that this was moved, but my intent was to provoke a discussion of which players the Vols may want, which should be on the Football board.

I guess I should have said that in the text of my OP.

No big deal, but I feel like this would provoke a lot more interesting discussion over there and not on this board.

The PARTIAL season he was here. Missed the first few games due to some kind of eligibility question.

They're playing for a NC. They've had one player enter so far, but it wouldn't surprise me if a couple of more jump in after the playoffs.
