That would be hard to believe. Thought he was Gamecock through and through and loved that place. Guess we'll see.

This guy didn't start.

The Freshmen came in and took his job.

He may have played against us because their starters were injured before and during the game. I believe at least 3 OLine starters for LSU were lost before or during the game.

I was just posting that as another guy who entered The Portal, I'm more interested in 1-3 these few OL..

OT Ajani Cornelius (Rhode island)
OT Walter Rouse (Stanford)
OT Andrej Karic (Texas)

OG Junior Angilau Texas)
OG Javion Cohen (Bama)
OG Keiondre Jones (Aub)

My personal choice would be 1 of each OT/OG. With Ajani Cornelius, and Junior Angilau

I always thought he was one who was over promoted by his handlers (parents, agents, HS coaches, etc.). He was extremely well marketed and a top recruit nationally, but we've had plenty of lesser recruited RBs who were better.

what I didn't like is that Kiffin seemed to fall for all that, of all people. In the 2009 UCLA game he kept rotating him in and out for Hardesty when I thought Hardesty was playing a lot better. In fact, I will go so far as to say playing Bryce Brown as much as he did may well have cost us that game.

But I guess I should not be surprised...Kiffin also ran off Tajh Boyd.

Kiffin was probably the best coach we had after Fulmer (until now!) but I don't think a lot of people realize just how low a standard that is. :D:D:D

And they'll have a bit of company. Suspect a lot of schools are biding time and will be very interested in the next wave of portal entries.

The schools being mentioned are Colorado, Georgia, Miami, and USC (the real one out west). My guess is Georgia unless Ruiz ponies up enough cash to get him to Miami.

I've come to realize; we're just not going to chase the high caliber players that fans drool over.
