Go walk into a coaches office and demand he fire one of his position coaches after getting 10 wins. You would be laughed out of the building.

Not saying it is right to keep Pope btw, but Heupel has earned two 10 win seasons after the last 4 guys before him couldn’t in 15 years. He may not want to listen to you, or even the players, on of Pope is good or not.

Do we say the same about Rick Barnes due to transfers? He’s one of the greatest college bball coaches ever. Heupel will need to work similar magic and create an addition by subtraction scenario the same as he did last year for our secondary and how Barnes has continuously done.
